Ireland: Rockall Basin FEL 1/09 and FEL 4/13

Serica holds 100% equity in its two Rockall Licences and is seeking partners to participate in drilling an exploration well in the Irish Rockall Basin. Two attractive opportunities exist; the stacked and Derryveagh prospects in FEL 4/13 and the prospect in FEL 1/09.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Large tilted fault block overlain by amplitude- supported turbidite fan

• Additional large tilted fault block prospects

• Proven hydrocarbon system

• Excellent 3D seismic coverage

• Highly favourable tax regime The Aghla More and Derryveagh prospects are located in FEL 4/13 and can be drilled with a single exploration well. Derryveagh is an Albian turbidite fan and Aghla More is a titled fault block analogous to the Dooish discovery. FEL 1/09 contains the Muckish prospect, also a tilted fault block analogous to the Dooish gas condensate discovery.

Muckish Aghla More East

Muckish N Prospect 3D Depth Perspective on Base Cretaceous The Derryveagh Prospect is an amplitude-supported stratigraphic Aptian/Albian turbidite fan which is draped over the top of the Aghla More tilted fault block prospect. This stratigraphic play is well- established in the UK West of Shetlands and the Irish Porcupine Basin. The Aghla More Prospect is a significant tilted fault block, mapped on excellent-quality 3D seismic data, with up to 79 km2 areal closure and over 500m of vertical closure. A single vertical well would test both the Derryveagh fan and the underlying Aghla More Prospect.

The Muckish Prospect is a significant tilted fault block, mapped on excellent-quality 3D seismic data, with up to 31 km2 areal closure and over 600m of vertical closure. It is located 30 kms north of the Dooish discovery (12/2-1,1z), which encountered sandstone reservoirs of Permian to Middle Jurassic age containing rich gas condensate. An estimated dry hole cost for an exploration well targeting the Muckish Prospect is estimated at £20.2million (October 2015).
