The television musical was first broadcast in 1957 on CBS when more than 107 million people tuned in for its network premiere. It featured Julie Andrews in the title role and Jon Cypher as everyone’s favourite Prince Charming. The three-act TV version comprised original scores that would later become classics, including “In My Own Little Corner”, “Ten Minutes Ago”, and “Do I Love You Because You’re Beautiful”.
