RESUMEN En este trabajo se ha profundizado en las razones que pueden explicar la distribución actual de la diversidad genética del chirimoyo (Annona cherimola Mill.), una especie frutal adaptada a climas subtropicales, con claras implicaciones para su uso y conservación. Gracias a un estudio de código de barras, se pudo comprobar el poder de discriminación del gen cloroplastídico maturasa K (matK) entre las especies con mayor importancia agronómica del género. Además, sobre los polimorfismos de nucleótido único (SNPs) interespecíficos, se diseñaron marcadores que permitieron la identificación mediante presencia o ausencia de bandas en geles de electroforesis de dichas especies tras PCR. El marcador específico del chirimoyo se utilizó para amplificar un gran número de muestras y estudiar la variabilidad intraespecífica respecto a los SNPs elegidos. Se verificó la existencia de dos haplotipos con diferenciación espacial: (1) con presencia únicamente en Centroamérica y (2) en Centroamérica y resto de orígenes de las accesiones del banco de germoplasma del IHSM- UMA-CSIC. A través de un estudio filogenético, basado en cinco loci cloroplastídicos, se determinó que esta especie conforma un grupo monofilético con otras especies cercanas, las cuales tienen una distribución exclusivamente centroamericana y caribeña. De entre las accesiones de chirimoyo incluidas en este ensayo, la mexicana y hondureñas (que presentan el haplotipo único de Centroamérica para matk) se posicionaron en la base del clado que reúne a todas las accesiones de la especie y no se distinguieron de las muestras de Annona pruinosa. La aproximación espacial para analizar diferentes índices de diversidad genética a partir de una base de datos final de 1843 accesiones de chirimoyo y nueve marcadores microsatélite, mostró como los valores en la zona centroamericana (preferentemente Honduras y Guatemala) fueron más altos en comparación con el norte de Perú, donde se observaron los valores más altos de

Carretera antigua a Coatepec 351, El Haya, Xalapa, Ver. 91070 México. email: [email protected]@inecol.mx In the Americas, the highest bamboo diversity and endemism is found in Brazil, the northern and central Andes, Mexico and Central America. In 2003, there were 40 native species of bamboos described for Mexico in eleven bamboo genera. Recent work has brought this number to 56 species. More than the half (34) of the Mexican bamboo species are endemic. The Mexican bamboos grow in tropical dry and perennial forests, mixed pine-oak and pine-fire forests, pine forests, and cloud forests from sea level to 3,000 m elevation. Genera of described Mexican woody bamboos species (and spp number) are: Arthrostylidium(1), Aulonemia(1),Chusquea(22),Guadua(7),Merostachys (1),Olmeca(5),Otatea(11),Rhipidocladum(4). Herbaceous genera are Cryptochloa(1),Lithachne(1),Olyra(2). Many of them have a diversity of rustic uses such as material for roofs or walls, furniture, fences, baskets, walking sticks, handcrafts, beehives, agricultural tools as well as ornamental plants. Live collections at the Botanical Gardens that preserve plant genetic resources are curated for various purposes including scientific education and research. The Francisco Javier Clavijero Botanical Garden at the Instituto de Ecología, in Xalapa, Mexico, houses the Mexican national living bamboo collection. It was stablished in 2003 with the collaborative support of INECOL, Bamboo of the Americas, and the InstitutoTecnológico de Chetumal for the ex situ conservation of Mexican bamboo diversity, research and education.

Thus, this work aims to determine the optimal sample size for germination tests with atemoya seeds. A germination test was carried out with 5 treatments, considering 10, 20, 30 40 and 50 seeds per sampling unit with 50 replicates of each. Data were analyzed using logistic regression, non-linear Gompertz regression models, bootstrap simulation and graphs in the form of contour lines in order to be able to infer the best binomial of the number of seeds per sampling unit and the number of replicates.

Er wird unter normalen Bedingungen 8–12 Meter hoch. Die Blätter ähneln Lorbeerblättern und sitzen wechselständig an den Zweigen. Die Blüten bestehen aus drei Kelch- und Kronblättern, sind länglich und von grüngelber Farbe. Sie verströmen einen aasartigen Geruch und locken damit Fliegen zur Bestäubung an. Die Frucht des Guanábana ist eigentlich eine große Beere. Sie wird bis zu 40 Zentimeter lang und bis zu 4 Kilogramm schwer. In dem weichen, weißen Fruchtfleisch sitzen große, schwarze (giftige) Samen. Die Fruchthülle ist mit weichen Stacheln besetzt, welche die Überreste des weiblichen Geschlechtsapparates bilden.
