1. General Information

Mehsana District Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union Limited, Mehsana (MDCMPU Ltd.)

popularly known as Dudhsagar Dairy, (located at Mehsana in Gujarat) is one of the largest Co-operative Dairy in India. MDCMPU Ltd was established in 1960 with the noble intention of ensuring a fair return to the milk producers. It is a district level apex body of milk cooperative

societies in Mehsana District which aims to provide remunerative returns to milk producers’ and

also to serve the interest of consumers by providing quality and safe milk and milk products which give good value for money. It is having eights dairies, two milk chilling centres, two cattle feed plants, semen collection plant and one Dairy Science College. Various products manufactured are milk in milk pouches, Dahi, Buttemilk, Ghee, Table Butter, Milk Powder, Sweetened Condensed Milk, Ice Cream, Flavoured milk and long shelf life (UHT) milk. It is selling almost all milk and milk products in India and abroad under the brand name of Amul and Sagar and having total turnover of around Rs. 4700/- crores (FY 2018-19) with its broad base of more than 10 lakh farmer members in Gujarat, Rajasthan and Haryana states.

There will be a Reverse Auction on the basis of the L1 rates of E Tender Price bids. Only those parties who qualify in Tender, will be given item wise participation in e-Auction.

Minimum Bid Quantity Offered should be 1/2 of the tender quantity

If L1 is unable to offer the full quantity required then L2 will be given the chance to match the L1 price for balance quantity and so on.

For any future liability/litigation bidder will be responsible.

The suppliers, who will default on delivery, necessary deduction will be made as per condition and may be barred from participating in any future cattle feed tender for persistent default.

In case of dispute, decision taken by I/C Managing Director will be final.

Courts at Mehsana shall have jurisdiction to hear, settle and/or determine any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of this tender.

1.6 Bid Security

All Bids must be accompanied by Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) in the form specified in the Bidding document. The Bids not accompanied with EMD shall be summarily rejected. The Bid security shall be denominated in Indian Rupees of value as specified.

Note: If Bidder is quoting more items, then EMD should be paid separately for each item quoted. The Bids not accompanied with EMD shall be summarily rejected.

The Bid security may be forfeited if: 1. A Bidder or Supplier withdraw its bid during the period of bid validity specified by the
Purchase on the tender document

or
2. In case of successful Bidder / Supplier, if the Bidder / Supplier fails to sign the contract or execute the contract within specified period of contract.

1.7 Reverse Auction

Dudhsagar Dairy will go for reverse E-Auction facilitated by Nprocure for the last stage of negotiation depending on the Prices and number of bidders participated.

In such case, there will be a Reverse Auction on the basis of the L1 rates of E Tender Price bids. Only those parties who qualify in Tender will be given item wise participation in eAuction.

Various factors contributed to this change in these countries, viz. concentration of population in cities where jobs were plentiful, rapid industrialization, improvement of transportation facilities, development of machines, etc. whereas the rural areas were identified for milk production, the urban centers were selected for the location of milk processing plants and product manufacturing factories. These plants and factories were rapidly expanded and modernized with improved machinery and equipment to secure the various advantages of large-scale production.

    1 2 3 4 Preface The Gujarat Pollution Control Board - also known as GPCB - was constituted by the Government of Gujarat on 15th October, 1974, under section 4 of the Water Act, 1974. GPCB continued its efforts towards environment awareness and better pollution control management. During 2010 - 2011, GPCB has achieved many goals; some of which are stated below in brief: 1. To have people friendly (áùÀëìÛÜðÂ) approach, noting-drafting in files and in letters to public, Gujarati language is introduced as per Govt. directives, discon- tinuing the practice of English writing only. 2. Retention time of visitors has been reduced considerably. All visitors are al- lowed to meet chairman, member secretary and other officials without prior appointments during 3pm - 6pm on all working days. 3. New GPCB offices opened and services extended in additional 8 districts viz. Gandhinagar, Himmatnagar, Palanpur, Surendranagar, Porbandar, Anand, Ankleshwar and Navsari for close and quick monitoring. Now, GPCB is func- tioning in total 21 districts. 4. Four fold increase in Vigilance Teams now set up at Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot for overall supervision and monitoring. 5. New recruitment of 27 officers (technical) has been done in the workforce of GPCB. 6. New sections of R & D, Training and Environment Awareness Programs have been started. 7. Practice of giving inspection remarks in writing (instead of old practice of ver- bal remarks) has been introduced in the State. 8. New barcoding sealing system is introduced for sample containers. 9. Co-processing of Hazardous wastes encouraged and recommended. 60,000 MT such waste is co-processed in cement mills so far.

Shri Sodhiji, Our earlier letters dated 20-9-2013 and 8-10- 2013, respectively were addressed and sent to the members of the Regulatory board and the members of the Programming Committee. However, instead of tabling these letters in the meeting of the Federation Board for discussion, in spite of such a meeting having taken place, you have expressed your personal opinions and by making them public you are trying to mislead the milk producers of the Mehsana Dairy. This is what one can see clearly from your letter. From your reply to our letter addressed to the Programming committee it seems that instead of trying to understand the subject and the objective of our letter you are aiming at trying to prove the decisions of the Mehsana Sangh as wrong and to mislead the milk producers of Mehsana by trying to create wrong impressions and misunderstandings in their minds. Through your letters you are trying to state that the administrators of Mehsana Dudhsagar Dairy are not good and that the investment is overly disproportionate with the quantity of milk. This has necessitated a response to you from us through this letter.

Abstact: Gujarat state is devoted in an agriculture as well as dairy industry. In all over India, first co-operative dairy is established in anand named, AMUL. it is excellence in all over Asia. It is on number one in all over world in buffalo milk. its products are exports in all countries of world. Amul brand is a very popular in milk products. In this article, about Gujarat, its development in co-operative dairies and history of the co-operative dairies, which are working under the GCMMF (Gujarat co-operative milk marketing federation ltd.) Introduction: Gujarat state was carved from the Mumbai State in 1 May 1960. Gujarat state is situated on the west coast of India between 20.1, 24.7 degrees North latitude, 68.4, 74.4 degrees East longitude. The boundaries of Gujarat are surrounded by the Arabian Sea in the west, Rajasthan in the North East, Madhya Pradesh in the East and Maharashtra in south East. At present, Gujarat has 33 districts and 248 Talukas. There are 264 towns, 8 municipal corporations, 18192 villages in Gujarat. According to 2001 population census, the Gujarat state occupies 10th rank among the state with the population of 6,03,83,628. Among these, the population of male was 3,14,82,282 and the female population was 2,89,01,246. The area of state is 1,96,024 square kms.
