Local Government (Finance, Plans and Reporting) Regulation 2010 NOTICE OF INTENTION TO SELL LAND FOR OVERDUE RATES To: The Registered Owners named in Schedule A Tablelands Regional Council (the Council) hereby gives notice to the registered owners in Schedule A that the unpaid rates and charges listed in Schedule A have remained unpaid for 3 years or longer. In accordance with Chapter 2 Part 12, Division 3 of the Local Government (Finance, Plans and Reporting) Regulation 2010, Council has resolved at its meeting 2 March 2011 to sell the land described in Schedule A (resolution below) "That Council: Sell such land listed in Schedule A (attached to these Minutes as Appendix 4) due to the rates which have accrued on the rateable lands remaining unpaid for three (3) years or longer, in accordance with section 74 of the Local Government (Finance, Plans and reporting) Regulation 2010." Notice is hereby given that unless such respective unpaid rates and charges, interest accrued thereon and expenses incurred by the Council, in connection with the intended sale are not paid within three (3) months from the giving of this notice (i.e if all overdue rates and charges are not paid by 14 June 2011), the land will be sold in accordance with the provisions of sections 75 to 78 of the act.
