Many investors are going to invest in Jharkhand : Raghuabar Das By : INVC Team Published On : 25 Mar, 2017 03:06 PM IST

INVC NEWS New Delhi, While getting MoU signed among Jharkhand govt., DRDO and Airport Authority of India, Chief Minister Raghuabar Das said that Deoghar Airport will prove a milestone from comprehensive and composite development point of view of Jharkhand. This airport will be completed by December, 2019. It will serve as a link between Jharkhand and north-east states. It will boost up tourism and will be beneficial for AIIMS. Mr. Das said that many investors are going to invest in the state after the summit and a new airport will boost up connectivity. Mr. Das said that work for inter connectivity among Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Dumka, Palamu and Bokaro is in progress. Moreover, proposal is given for flight from Ranchi to Hyderabad and Chennai. The govt. is working seriously on water connectivity apart from air and road connectivity. Construction of bridge on the Ganga river in Sahibganj and multi model hub will increase economic activities in this area. Union Civil Aviation Minister for State Mr. Jayant Sinha, Urban Development Minister Mr. C. P. Singh, MPs Mr. Ram Tahal Choudhary, Mr. Nishikant Dubey, CS Mrs. Raj Bala Verma, Development Commissioner Mr. Amit Khare, Addl. CS/Principal Secretaries/ Secretaries, officers of DRDO and Airport Authority of India were present on this occasion.
