Flight Sergeant Danks and SEARCH DOG JUNO 12 months on as an Operational, voluntary SAR team

Flight Sergeant Danks has been a member of Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue (NorLSAR) since 2015 when he qualified as a SAR technician. Due to numerous transferrable skills, he attempted and passed the SAR Team Leaders course in 2018, and having decided to get Juno (as a family pet) and then train her as a SAR dog in October 2016, they both passed the Lowland Rescue SAR dog and handler assessment in February 2019. Since then they have been called out regularly to search for missing, vulnerable members of the public throughout the region, hoping to locate them and return them back to their families and loved ones.
