Written and directed by Masha Kevinovna, the recipient of the 2020 Bryan Forbes Director’s Bursary, which supports outstanding early-career directors at National Youth Theatre, Ordinary Miracle asks ‘can we be brave enough to love knowing that everything will end?’

Based on a romantic Russian fantasy and devised with Britain’s best young creative talent from the NYT REP Company, Ordinary Miracle is a brave new poetic and musical multi- disciplinary production. A story with music about our need to connect with other humans and how love leads to ordinary miracles. The first production to premiere at NYT’s Workshop Theatre.

We’re grateful to all those who have donated to the Bryan Forbes Bursary for Young Directors, and in particular Emma Forbes and Graham Clempson and director mentor Prasanna Puwanarajah.
