Activities conducted under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) Name of the State: GUJARAT Partnering State: Chhattisgarh Monthly Report for April- 2021

Due to COVID related circumstances in the State, sessions on Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat has been included in Home Learning program telecast from DD Girnar channel. Every Saturday, Home Learning program includes a session on different themes aligned with EBSB and connected to paired states Gujarat and Chhatisgarh.  Information Regarding Each session of April 2021

 Session 1: April 3rd, 2021: The telecast was focussed to inform Students, Teachers and others about tourist places in the paired states. The Facilitator introduced the following tourist places in paired states during the session:

State Tourist places Gujarat Saputara, Statue of Unity, Somanath

Chattisgarh Chitrakot WaterFall, Tirathgadh WaterFall, Kotumsar cave , Maa Bamleshwari Temple Dongragarh ,Champarany

 Session 2: April 10th, 2021: The second session this month was focussed to provide information about rivers in paired States Gujarat and Chhattisgarh. The facilitator introduced the students with following rivers of paired states:

State Rivers Gujarat Sabaramati and Narmada

Chattisgarh Mahanadi and Godavari

 Session 3: April 17th, 2021: In the third Sessions of the Month, Students Were Informed About Various Historical places of both the States.

State Historical places Gujarat Indus Valley - Sindhu Ghaatee (Lothal ,Rangapur, Bhaga talav, Deshalpar ,Dholavira Chattisgarh Kailash Cave ,Chitrakoot(paravti) cave District Bastar , Khadia Dam ,kabir, Tala gaon, Danteshwari Temple ,Dantewada District Bilaspur

 Session 4: April 24th, 2021: During fourth Session of the month, Students were Introduced to 30 Sentences in the languages of paired States. This session also mentioned about Surendra Dubey a famous Hindi poet from Chhatisgarh and Kunwar Bai Yadav, brand ambassador of Chhatisgarh for Swachh Bharat.

 Information Regarding Each session of March 2021

1. Session 1: March 6th, 2021: The telecast was focussed to inform Students, Teachers and others about National Park and Sanctuary in the paired states. The Facilitator introduced the following national park and sanctuary in paired states during the session:

State National park and Sanctuaries Gujarat Sasangir (lions and others) , Velavadar (kaliyar-deers and others) , Vansada (bamboo, botanical garden and leopards, others).

Chattisgarh Indravati (Tigers ,buffalo , others) , Kanger valley (pahadi mena, natur ,others) , Sanjay (Tigers and others).

2. Session 2: March 13th, 2021: The second session this month was focussed to provide information about State capital of paired States Gujarat and Chhattisgarh. The facilitator introduced the students with following information of paired states:

State Capital city Gujarat Gandhinagar (area, famous for, various place, temple, other information)

Chattisgarh Raipur (area, famous for, various place , temple, others info).

3. Session 3: March 20th, 2021: In the third Sessions of the Month, Students Were Informed About Various famous places, production and art of both the States.

State Famous for Gujarat Gira waterfall, cotton production, Somnath Temple, Bhavai kala, children university

Chattisgarh Chitrkut waterfall , silk production, Bhoramdev Temple, Pandavani kala(Tejanbai), Indira kala vishva vidhyalaya,

4. Session 4: March 27th, 2021: During fourth Session of the month, Students were Informed about Bird Sanctuaries with Map-Location of Both the States.

 Information Regarding Each session of February 2021

1. This month the first session which was telecast on 06th February informed students about Sports and Games of the paired states. The facilitator introduced the students with following games and sports of paired states:

Gujarat Santa-kukdi, Langadi, Inda-chor , Nargol(satoliyu) , Gili-danda (moy dandiyo), Pari-Paththar (shot and go), Kho-kho, Kabbdi.

Chattisgarh Gidi-gada, Foda, Fugdi, Falli, Danda-kolal, Amarit-bish, Ulan-bati, Rassa khench, Gotta, Pakharatuk, Aththa panja, Ghar-ghundiya, Bati, Gedi, Naliyer-fenk, Bail-daud, Kusti.

2. The second session this month was focussed to inform the students about various Fairs which are celebrated in Gujarat and Chhattisgarh. The facilitator introduced the students with following fairs of paired states:

Gujarat Kartik-Purnima, Bhavanath (Junagadh), Tarnetar (Surendranagar), Chitra Vichitra-Holi (Sabarkantha)

Chattisgarh Rajim, Shiv-Narayan (Kharod) ,Dabhara-Ram-Navmi(Chandarpur), Nava-Khana Melo.

3. In The Third and Fourth Sessions of the Month, Students Were Informed About Folk Dances of Both the States.
