Karan Johar’s lifelong dream to become a daddy has ﬁnally been fulﬁlled

as heD RhAaGs AnNoYwW bHeEcRoEm ONe SaC sRinEgENle parent of twins – a girl and a boy, whom he has named Roohi and Yash.

KJo shared the good news on Twitter and also mentioned how his kids are now his world and priority! He called them his "lifelines".

While the news did come as a surprise to many, but Karan’s decision to go the surrogacy way to become a single-parent has also elicited a lot of support.

In his book "An Unsuitable Boy", released this year, Karan had expressed a desire to adopt a child or go for surrogacy.

The ﬁlmmaker, who keeps travelling around the world, understands that having children would mean that "work, travels and social commitments would have to take a back seat".

Karan extended gratitude to IVF specialist Jatin Shah, who was also instrumental in the successful birth of superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri's son AbRam through surrogacy.
