Dear Traveler, HEALTH COMES FIRST. ________________________________________________________ The Peruvian Government has taken these measures to fight against COVID-19: • Travelers entering the country must fill out a sworn statement (link) and also provide the following before boarding the plane: a negative molecular test (PCR), a negative antigen test or a medical certificate of epidemiological discharge. PCR or antigen test results must be obtained no later than 72 hours prior to check-in. • Travelers entering the country must comply with a mandatory 14-day quarantine. However, upon arrival in Peru, visitors will be able to take an antigen test. A negative result of this test will eliminate the quarantine. The passenger must pay for the test. • The entrance of non-resident passengers from United Kingdom, South Africa and/or Brazil, or who have made a stopover in such countries in the last 14 days, is suspended from March 29 to April 11. • Land borders are temporarily closed, therefore international passenger transportation by land is suspended. Peruvians and foreign residents may enter the country by complying with the protocols and measures established by the Ministry of Health. • The only requirement for flights to the interior of the country (local flights) is the signature of a sworn statement indicating that the traveler does not have symptoms of COVID-19. • High alert level: The movement of people schedule is from 04:00 h to 22:00 h, with vehicle restriction on Sundays in the regions of Huánuco (Huánuco, Ambo, Dos de Mayo, Huacaybamba, Huamalíes, Leoncio Prado, Marañón, Pachitea, Puerto Inca, Lauricocha and Yarowilca), and Lambayeque (Chiclayo, Ferreñafe and Lambayeque). • Very High alert level: The movement of people schedule is from 04:00 h to 21:00 h, with vehicle restriction on Sundays in the regions of Amazonas (Chachapoyas, Bagua, Bongará, Condorcanqui, Luya, Rodríguez de Mendoza and Utcubamba), Áncash (Huaraz, Aija, Antonio Raimondi, Asunción, Bolognesi, Carhuaz, Carlos Fermín Fitzcarrald, Casma, Corongo, Huari, Huarmey, Mariscal Luzuriaga, Ocros, Pallasca, Pomabamba, Recuay, Santa, Sihuas and Yungay), Apurímac (Abancay, Antabamba, Aymaraes, Cotabambas, Chincheros and Grau), Arequipa (Arequipa, Camaná, Caravelí, Castilla, Caylloma, Condesuyos, Islay and La Unión), Ayacucho (Cangallo, Huanca Sancos, Huanta, La Mar, Lucanas, Parinacochas, Páucar del Sara Sara, Sucre, Víctor Fajardo and Vilcas Huamán), Cajamarca (Cajamarca, Cajabamba, Celendín, Chota, Contumaza, Cutervo, Hualgayoc, Jaén, San Ignacio, San Marcos, San Miguel, San Pablo and Santa Cruz), Callao (Callao), Cusco (Acomayo, Anta, Calca, Canas, Canchis, Chumbivilcas, Espinar, La Convención, Paruro, Paucartambo, Quispicanchi and Urubamba), Huancavelica (Huancavelica, Acobamba, Angaraes, Castrovirreyna, Churcampa, Huaytará and Tayacaja), Ica (Chincha, Nazca, Palpa and Pisco), Junín (Huancayo, Concepción, Jauja, Junín, Satipo, Tarma and Yauli), La Libertad (La Libertad, Ascope, Bolívar, Chepén, Julcán, Otuzco, Pataz, Sánchez Carrión, Santiago de Chuco, Gran Chimú and Virú), Lima (Metropolitan Lima, Cajatambo, Canta, Cañete, Huaral, Oyón and Yauyos), Loreto (Maynas, Loreto, Mariscal Ramón Castilla, Requena, Ucayali, Datem del Marañón and Putumayo), Madre de Dios (Manu and Tahuamanu), Moquegua (Mariscal Nieto, General Sánchez Cerro and Ilo), Pasco (Pasco, Daniel Alcides Carrión and Oxapampa), Piura (Ayabaca, Huancabamba, Morropón, Paita, Sullana, Talara and Sechura), Puno (Puno, Azángaro, Carabaya, Chucuito, El Collao, Huancané, Lampa, Melgar, Moho, San Antonio de Putina, San Román, Sandia and Yunguyo), San Martín (Bellavista, El Dorado, Huallaga, Lamas, Mariscal Cáceres, Picota, Rioja, San Martín and Tocache), Tacna (Candarave, Jorge Basadre and Tarata), Tumbes (Contralmirante Villar and Zarumilla), and Ucayali (Atalaya, Padre Abad and Purús). • Extreme alert level: The movement of people schedule remains from Mondays to Saturdays from 04:00 h to 21:00 h., with vehicle restriction and strict mandatory social immobilization on Sundays in Áncash (Huaylas), Apurímac (Andahuaylas), Ayacucho (Huamanga), Cusco (Cusco), Ica (Ica), Junín (Chanchamayo and Chupaca), La Libertad (Trujillo and Pacasmayo), Lima (Barranca, Huarochirí and Huaura), Loreto (Alto Amazonas), Madre de Dios (Tambopata), Piura (Piura), Puno (Puno), San Martín (Moyobamba), Tumbes (Tumbes), and Ucayali (Coronel Portillo). • These measures will be in force from March 29 to April 11, 2021. • The use of mask to move throughout the country is mandatory and the population is reminded of hand washing and social distancing constantly.
