When is the best time to dive?
Diving in the Red Sea is possible year round. However, if you hope to see some of the larger pelagic life, July and August are when you will find larger concentrations of barracuda, tuna and a variety of shark species.

Yes, Nitrox is available on all our liveaboard boats. However, please advise at the time of booking if you require Nitrox.
What type of wetsuit do I need?
A 5mm wetsuit is usually recommended for diving the Red Sea. In winter, you will need a full wet suit but in the summer months a shorty will suffice.
Are night dives possible?
Yes, night dives are possible at many dive sites, though not all.
What is the minimum number of passengers required for the liveaboard to sail?
The minimum number of passengers required for a sailing is from 8 to 12 according to the selected boat.
How do I get to Sharm / Hurghada?

How do I get from the airport to the boat?
Sea Queens does provide airport transfers, also 'Help & Assist' at Cairo airport can be arranged. Please ensure that you advise us of your flight numbers and times of arrival / departure well ahead in time.

Are there medical facilities on the boat?
All our boats have first-aid boxes and oxygen. In the event of a medical emergency, the Search and Rescue (SAR) teams based on land can be contacted 24 hours a day and clients can be taken to the Hyperbaric Chambers in Sharm, Hurghada, Safaga and Dahab. A DAN insurance or similar is recommended.
What is recommended for tipping / gratuities?
On liveaboards, it is usually customary to leave a one-time tip for the crew and dive guides at the end of the trip, between 5 to 10 US$ per diver per day are recommended.
