THE MOST HOLY BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST-CORPUS CHRIST (SOLEMNITY) CAFOD- This week I have sent 12kg of recycled technology to the CAFOD collect base. CAFOD has raised over 70 million pounds recycling technology and they thank the parish for the first collection. They are keen that the Holy Spirit Parish should continue to collect and dispose of the unwanted items in an environmentally sensible way. I have another CAFOD sack to fill so please bring any unwanted technology (mobile phones, laptops, tablets, media players, games consoles and computer games) or jewellery to mass and I will collect them and put them in the sack. Citizens UK are calling on Nottingham Forest FC to Hands on Magdalena Medio, Colombia - pay all their employees, including match-day staff, a real Parish Project 2019 -2021 Living Wage of £9.50 p/hr. Quite simply, people are not Working with young people and women’s support groups paid enough to live a dignified life. Earning a real Living in Colombia, to run workshops and equip young people Wage rather than the minimum wage, it is the difference with strong communication skills and other tools to make between living and just surviving.
