Apart from this, Anti-rabies vaccination program has been conducted at different areas/ villages as and when felt necessary from time to time.

Epidemic Disease Control and Treatments Manipur is prone to outbreak of various epidemic diseases like BQ. HS.andFMD in cattle and buffalo and Classical Swine fever in swine every year. The Chandel district being a border district with a vast porous boundary with Myanmar, it is very important to immunize the livestock population every year before onset of rainy season. Therefore, vaccination program against BQ. HS and FMD have been taken up regularly before onset of rainy season. To control the loss of Pigs due to Classical Swine fever disease, vaccination of Swine fever Vaccine has been undergoing in full swing and farmers are advised to contact any time to the District Vety.
