We are writing to you to bring to your attention two letters we have sent to the travel industry in relation to two local lockdowns introduced in Wales.
As a result of those restrictions people are not able to leave their local county and therefore not able to travel internationally.
Our letters stressed the importance of travel operators meeting their legal obligations to mitigate the financial impact on the travelling public. Yet, we are getting reports from elected members that not all the travel industry is doing that.
We would appreciate you adding your weight to the industry to press them to do the right thing.
