Extensive investigation has been carried out: - Crack and inclinometer monitoring - Testing and assessment of existing sheet piles - Borescope and ground penetrating radar - Trial excavations and core drilling - Structural Inspections The possibility is being investigated of entering a Heritage Partnership Agreement with English Heritage, covering short term maintenance and longer term proposals for strengthening and restoration.
