On behalf of The H Foundation, thank you for your commitment to finding a cure for cancer. To help you make the most of your Goombay Bash, here is your “GOOMBAY GUIDE” with important details about the exciting evening we have planned for you.

Tips for a Great Goombay Bash

• CATCH THE CARIBBEAN SPIRIT: Wear your Hawaiian shirts, sundresses, shorts, and sandals! The Goombay Bash is a casual celebration so keep your tuxedos at home!

• ARRIVE EARLY: Plan ahead! Traffic in Chicago can be VERY busy on a Saturday and can easily take 30 minutes or longer once close to the entrance at Lake Shore Drive. Doors open at 5:00pm! If you are driving to Navy Pier and security tells you the lot is full, tell them you are with the Goombay Bash and show them your parking placard. CLICK HERE to download!

• VALET PARKING: Parking at Navy Pier always fills up and security will turn people away. We have arranged for reserved parking for Goombay attendees with valet service at a discounted rate of $33. Please tell security you are with the Goombay Bash and show them the PARKING PLACARD if they tell you the lot is full.

• GUEST BUS: SOLD OUT! If you booked a spot on our luxury guest bus, no need to drive to attend the Goombay Bash! Here is what you need to know: o Departs: Our guest bus departs at 4:00 from Madison Street across from Cossitt School right behind Hortons. o Returns: The bus returns from Navy Pier after the Fireworks.

• EVENT TICKETS: Goombay has “gone green” and will not issue event tickets. Your information has already been entered into our registration software. If you have not already done so, please make sure to contact The H Foundation office and provide your guest names, email addresses and cell phone numbers. This ensures you and your guests will have a fast and easy experience at registration and allow us to provide important logistical information the week of and during the Bash. • MOBILE AUCTION BIDDING: You can now securely bid from your smartphone prior to and at the Bash. Enter www.bidgoombay.com into your smartphone browser. We will announce the opening of the auctions shortly.

• CASH BAR: In order to keep ticket prices low, the Goombay Bash is a cash bar event. A $50 unlimited beverage wristband will be for sale the night of the event.

o PADDLE RAISER: This takes place after the Live Auction and gives everyone the opportunity to make a donation at the Bash. Think about how much a cure for cancer is worth to you and get ready to raise your paddle!

o SILENT AUCTION: We have collected an incredible selection of unique, yet practical and desirable products, services, and packages. We have a selection of 300+ packages that represent Dining, Entertainment, Health & Beauty, Home & Garden, Sports, and Specialty. Our packages sell for various price points so there is something for everyone! Make sure to especially peruse our Super Silent items as they are extremely unique!

o BEST OF LIVE RAFFLE: This is an exclusive opportunity for an individual to obtain one of the Live Auction for only $100. There are ONLY 200 Best of Live tickets sold for $100 each. The winner will be selected prior to the Live Auction and will get to choose their prize from a selection of Live Auction items.

o BALLOON RAFFLE: Everyone who purchases a Balloon Raffle is a guaranteed winner! Balloons are sold for $50 and contain multiple gift cards and items that are worth at least $50 in value. Many balloons contain items whose value can exceed $200. The Balloon Raffle always sells out early so plan to purchase once you arrive at the Bash!

o GRAND RAFFLE: Grand Raffle tickets are available NOW and will likely sell out prior to July 27th. Tickets are sold for $50 and the grand prize is $10,000. Only 1000 tickets are sold so your chances to win are great! Get your ticket NOW!
