Dear Friends, Thank you for your continued partnership with Research Council. Your prayers and financial support are appreciated more than you know. By God’s grace, we are celebrating many victories from the past year, and it is an honor to share a few highlights to show how your investments advanced faith, family, and freedom in America.

We are in a unique window in history with numerous opportunities presenting themselves with our current administration, and we recognize the importance of seizing these moments. The Lord has allowed FRC to be one of the leading doorkeepers for religious freedom, keeping the door open for the Gospel to go forth and the church to do their work. But we cannot stop now. The Left has more funds than ever before, and they are working tirelessly to stop our forward and once again impose their liberal agenda on America.

Every dollar you give allows us to produce research to educate believers on what is happening in our nation from a biblical , and mobilize Christians to do their part, so together we can impact the culture. EXPANSION of FRC’s Center For Religious Liberty

Mission Statement: The Center for Religious Liberty at FRC exists to cultivate religious freedom for every person worldwide.

Of all people, Christians understand that we must have freedom to choose God, who does not want to be forced or compelled. Therefore, we seek to expand the freedom to choose one’s faith, and live it out, as a fundamental human right. With persecution of religious minorities, especially Christians, rising worldwide before our eyes, FRC’s experts are working with government officials and cultural leaders to expose the pervasive assaults on this God-given right and helping to educate them on how attacks on religious freedom undermine a healthy society.

As the foundational freedom on which all our other rights exist, FRC has been focused on religious liberty in the for some time. We are now taking our advocacy and exporting it worldwide. We have a window of opportunity to do this, but we don’t know how long it will last.

Our organization has broad grassroots connections throughout the country and extensive relationships in our nation’s capital. Now, that includes many in the Trump administration, which has stalwart international religious liberty advocates in key roles. As we work with them to advance religious freedom globally, we can make a truly tangible impact. The expansion of our Center for Religious Liberty supercharges our efforts on this topic so that we can more holistically deal with religious freedom—whether the threat is to us here in the United States or to fellow believers around the world.

State Department Ministerial

After years of FRC working to educate leaders on why freedom of must be a top priority in our national conversations and policy, we celebrated a historic victory in July 2018 as the U.S. State Department held its first- ever Ministerial to Advance Religious Freedom. Dozens of government officials, representatives of international organizations, religious leaders, human rights advocates, and members of civil society organizations from around the world gathered for three days to discuss the vital need to protect this God-given right. Riveting messages were shared by wide-ranging voices including tearful stories from survivors of persecution in China and Myanmar, and bold remarks were made by Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary Mike Pompeo. This ministerial sent a signal to the world that the United States is taking religious freedom seriously.

Church Ministries

FRC’s Church Ministries team equips and mobilizes pastors through regional pastor briefings and roundtables throughout the year and our national Watchmen on the Wall gathering each May. Our goal is to have pastors make the threefold commitment to pray for our nation, preach on moral issues, and partner with other pastors for the sake of America. We also encourage and engage concerned Christians by raising up Culture Impact Teams (CITs) within congregations to take active steps as salt and light in their communities.

We recognize that America’s greatest need is not political, it is spiritual. That is why we need the church to lead the way; calling on God for His forgiveness, healing, and blessing on our land. For an entire decade, FRC has encouraged churches across America to join us in Call2Fall, a simple but powerful commitment to get on our faces before the Lord, asking Him to reshape our lives and renew our land. On Sunday, July 1, we had thousands of churches in all 50 states take at least five minutes during worship services to kneel and declare our dependence on God before celebrating Independence Day.
