Bishop Wordsworth’s Senior Skiing Trip: 14 February to 20 February 2016

I write to inform you that I have obtained an option for a ski holiday at , for February Half Term 2016.

La Molina, the oldest ski resort in Spain, installed its first commercial ski lift in 1943. Throughout its history, it has offered sport and leisure for all ages.

Alp 2500 joins La Molina and ski resorts and constitutes one of the largest areas for skiing in the , with 135 km of slopes. The resorts are connected by the Gondola lift, one of a modern network of 32 lifts enabling access to 119 slopes.

In La Molina you will enjoy sun and snow in an area with a wide diversity of landscapes.

RESORT La Molina and Masella (Alp 2500) Spain

Resort height: 1700m Lift range: 1547m - 2531 m Marked piste: 135km which includes 22 green, 41 blue, 40 red and 16 black Number of lifts: 32 (1 Cable Car, 13 Chairs and 11 drags)

Snow boarding is also available but a minimum of 8 students of similar ability are required in order to gain specific instructors.

ACCOMMODATION Guitart La Molina Aparthotel & Spa 4*

Boys will be allocated multi-bedded Apartments all with private facilities (ie bathroom, WC, kitchenette with hot plates, oven/grill, fridge, dishwasher, etc) and are completely self-contained.

The Hotel boasts a full Spa and swimming pool, free wi-fi and a dedicated meeting room for our party.

EATING ARRANGEMENTS

Full Board

Buffet Breakfast and evening meal are taken at the hotel. Lunches will be taken in a local restaurant at the foot of the slopes.

COST

The basic trip price will be £1125. This is based on 48 paying students. This includes: The Full La Molina/Masella area lift pass Return travel by air Full Board Studio accommodation with en- suite and self-catering facilities (Meals will be taken in a local restaurant) Hire of ski equipment - boots, skis and poles 5x5 hour ski lessons Fully comprehensive insurance A Full 5 day lift pass Evening entertainment programme including Bowling, and swimming

Not included: Pocket money Hire/Purchase of ski clothing.

In order to secure the very competitive price at this top class ski resort, it will be necessary to confirm the booking with a £250 per head deposit by 2015.
