But Students’ Association (SA) Government officials behind the effort think people will get bored of taking tampons in bulk trips and stealing baskets. Smith 3 Welcome Back What a time it has been! Our world has experienced unprecedented disruption since we last gathered in the spring of 2020 in our beautiful venues to witness exquisite music, dance, and theatre together. Throughout these many long and painful months of separation and isolation, I have been yearning for the time when we can be together once again. It appears that time is finally now upon us! I am absolutely thrilled to share our plans for celebrating the University of Georgia Performing Arts Center’s historic 25th anniversary season throughout the fall of 2021 and spring of 2022. Our silver anniversary season will feature a variety of acclaimed guest artists—some new to us and some returning favorites—with an equally wide variety of personal life experiences. They will come to us from across the United States and several different countries. Their experiences inform their work, and we will, for a brief moment in time, commune together as the universal languages of music, spoken word, and movement unite us in hope and healing. Not only has the world changed significantly since we first opened our doors 25 years ago, it has changed dramatically in the last year as we have endured the devastating impact of a global pandemic, social injustice, political uncertainty, and any number of other things.

That spring day when I first received Leave Your Sleep, I knew I was in the possession of something incredibly special. Little did I know then it was the beginning of a love affair and journey that would take me to new heights, challenge me in extraordinary ways, and allow in me a profound depth of love for humanity that I didn’t know I was capable of. Over the course of five years, Natalie Merchant researched and wrote Leave Your Sleep. She adapted the poems to music, collaborating with more than a hundred musicians. She transformed the work by creating an exquisite picture book with Barbara McClintock. It was at this moment that I knew this extraordinary work needed to be in front of children – all children, but I didn’t know how it would come to fruition. Leave Your Sleep for Education was born out of the passion and vision of a dedicated team of individuals who believe in the importance of the arts in education.

2008 TRASH Regionals Round 13 Bonuses 1. Stassen.com has compared pre-season rankings to end of season rankings since 1989 to compile a list of the most underrated and overrated college football teams. For ten points each: 1. The most underrated team was this Pac-10 squad, who finished two seasons - 1997 and 2003 - 17 points higher than their pre-season ranking. This won't be a problem this year, as they're currently 1-9 and have given up 55 or more points in six games. Answer: Washington State University 2. Most overrated was this Big 10 school that finished 2007 14 spots lower than their pre-season ranking. Also no problem this year, as their transition to a spread offense has led to their first losing season in 41 years. Answer: University of Michigan 3. This ACC school was the most consistently ranked, finising just a point higher than its cumulative rankings. It's unlikely to finish ranked this year, though coach Al Groh has kept the team surprisingly competitive. Answer: University of Virginia 2. For ten points each, name these films from descriptions of scenes that made the question writer weep - in a good way! 1. The question writer is man enough to admit that he cried when Julius Campbell comforted Gerry Bertier at the latter's hospital bedside after a paralyzing car accident in this 2000 Jerry Bruckheimer-produced sports drama. Answer: Remember the Titans 2. The question writer also cried when watching Ebenezer Scrooge, played by Michael Caine, reminisce over his days as a lonely schoolboy in this 1992 movie.
