Sub:-List of sports summer and regular coaching camps for the year 2013-2014. Sir/Madam, I am pleased to inform you that this office will organize summer coaching camps in different sports discipline. I am also pleased to inform you that your school has been identified as sports coaching centre of this Directorate. Accordingly, please find enclosed herewith a list of summer coaching camps. regular coaching camps shall be operational for the entire year whereas summer coaching camps shall be operational only th th during the summer vacations w.e.f. 13 May, 2013 to 30 June, 2013. It is further stated that after the summer coaching camps are over, the players receiving training and coaching in the summer camps can continue their further training in any of our regular sports coaching centre in the nearby locality of his residence, as per his / her convenience. The teachers deployed for summer coaching camps shall join back their respective schools st immediately after the school reopen on 1 July, 2013. No separate relieving order is required for these teachers. The concerned Heads of the school where the sports coaching centre has been designated shall submit the attendance certificate of the teacher deployed at their centre along with the complete details of the beneficiaries at their coaching centre. A proper register of the participating students is to be maintained incorporating his / her name, school name, discipline, time of arrival and departure of the student at the centre etc. All the sports coaches are directed that they will make such a module of coaching so that each and every trainee is imparted the complete knowledge of that particular game in summer vacations itself. They will be required to make presentation of their module of coaching to the undersigned. It is compulsory for all the coaches to prepare at least one team of their centre so that they can compete in the forthcoming sports events. You are requested to allow these coaches to run respective coaching centre in your school, you are also requested to provide them necessary support, sports equipments, sports material, co-operation and other paraphernalia required by them for running these coaching centers including security and sanitation staff. You are further requested to inform the students of your school to avail this opportunity and nurture their talents in these coaching centers. The timing of regular sports coaching centers are as follows :- Summers:- Morning:- 6.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. Evening: - 4.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. Winters:- Morning:- 7.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. Evening: - 3.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. Swimming Pools:- Morning:- 6.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. Evening: - 4.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. The timings of summer sports coaching are as follows:- Morning:- 6.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. Evening: - 4.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. Any other clarification / information may be obtained from the following : Mrs. Asha Aggarwal, ADE (Sports): Tel. no. 011-27005262, 9891638089 Sh. Under the scheme, various regular activities / programs, coaching camps and other national and state level tournaments are being organized. The scheme also provides participation of players in National School Games, providing playing kits and sports material etc. Commonwealth Games Federation has chosen New Delhi as the venue for holding of Commonwealth Games 2010. For this purpose, a tripartite host city contract has been executed and signed on 13th Nov. 2003 by the President of the Commonwealth Games Federation, the President of the Indian Olympic Association, the Lt. Governor of Delhi on behalf of the host city and Secretary (Sports), Govt. of India. As per one of the clauses of this contract, the organizing committee shall pay, $1.3 million within 6 months of execution of the contract for the right to host the games. Delhi Govt. might have to pay a share towards this amount in this year. In July 2004, the Olympic Torch for the Athens Olympic Games 2004 will arrive in Delhi. This is the first time in the history that the Olympic Torch will pass through New Delhi. The torch will be welcomed with full dignity and a colourful cultural programme will be presented on its arrival.

To organize different sports competitions in every constituency. 3. To organize sports competitions at micro level of the school students. 4. To bring out a magazine. 5.
