CIRCULAR

Sub: Pay & Play Scheme for usage of sports stadia / complexes.

With a view to promote sports among all ages, it has been decided to open following stadia of Government of NCT of Delhi with sports disciplines mentioned against each under "PAY & PLAY SCHEME' so as to involve the citizens of the Capital in sports promotion:

Scheduled date of Start:

The registration facility will start from 1st July, 2015 during office hours and the actual usage will start from io" July, 2015 in the morning session i.e. 6 a.rn. to 9.30 a.m. The afternoon and evening session will be exclusively meant for school students. I

Charges:

The following charges will be levied on account of usage of the stadta I sports complexes:

The process of entry and registration; general instructions for the users etc. have

been given in the Annexure-I.

The user charges in respect of the sports disciplines shown against Thyagraj

Stadium and Chhatrasal Stadium stand amended as contained in this office earlier O.M. No. DE 41/Sports/2010/CWG/12913-13012 dated 14th January, 2011. However, other

membership categories as circulated vide the above referred O.M. will continue to be

Process of entry and registration of Public:

1. Registration will be done on 'first come first serve' basis through admission forms available with the concerned person.

2. Once the particular venue is made open for starting sporting activities, individuals should approach the concerned In-charge/Administrator of the stadia/sports complex for admission. The application should be made on the application form giving all the details and enclosing the self attested copy of proof of date of birth. Registration will be done on working days from 11 a.rn. to 4 p.rn,

3. Efforts should be made to register maximum number of interested persons.

4, Each person will be registered for a period of at least 3 months and upto one year on payment of charges.

General Instructions:

(1) No sports material, furniture, crockery etc. will be provided by the Directorate.

(2) Players should bring their own sports material and sports kit

(3) The complex will remain off on every Monday, 3 National Holidays i.e. Gandhi Jayanti, Republic Day and Independence Day and other days, as may be required from time to time, for the public. However, the complexes will remain off on every Sunday for the students, as usual.

(4) The persons can use/practice in the complex at their own. It will not be binding upon the Directorate to provide coaching during the usage taking into consideration the availability of limited coaches.

(5) Strict discipline should be maintained during the usage of the complex.

(6) The Directorate will not be responsible for any injury, loss or damage sustained or caused to any person in the sports complex while using the facilities.

(7) No refund I compensation on account of non-utilization of sports facilities will be made or adjusted against any future utilization.

(8) In case of any breakage or loss to the government property or equipments, full value will be charged from the responsible persons.

(9) Dogs / pets are not allowed in any part of the complex.

(10) Vehicles are required to be parked in the proper parking place. (11) Persons will ensure that proper decorum with regard to wearing of dress in the complex is always maintained.

(12) Consuming liquor or alcoholic drinks and smoking within the premises of the complex is strictly prohibited.

(13) The Directorate of Education has the right to suspend the membership of any person on account of any indisciplinein the complex.

(14) No arms and ammunition are allowed within the premises of the complex.

(15) Silence should be observed while practicing Yoga.

(16) The members will ensure themselves that they are fit to play the particular game.

(17) No eatables/beverages (except drinking water) shall be brought in the premises.

(18) The Administrator / In-charges of respective complex will fix the number of memberships at their own level. They will determine their own procedure for allotting the days, duration of use and timings of usage, taking into consideration the applications received by them.
