Message to the Governor of the Falkland Islands The Bailiff informed the Assembly that he would be sending a message, on behalf of the States and the people of Jersey, to the Governor of the Falkland Islands on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Liberation of the Falklands. Acting Greffier of the States The Bailiff informed the Assembly that in accordance with Article 41(15) of the States of Jersey Law 2005, he had appointed the Assistant Greffier of the States, Mrs. Lisa-Marie Hart to discharge the functions of the Greffier of the States and the Deputy Greffier of the States in the event of their absence or incapacity and had that morning administered the appropriate oath to Mrs. Hart in accordance with the provisions of Article 41(17) of the Law. St. Michael’s School pupils – welcome The Bailiff, on behalf of all members, welcomed pupils from St. Michael’s School to the Gallery of the States Chamber. Photographs in the Chamber The Bailiff informed the Assembly that he had received a request from the Cultural Development Officer to take photographs in the Chamber during a meeting of the States, for use in the delivery of the Citizenship programme. Privileges and Procedures Committee – resignation of member THE STATES noted the resignation of the Deputy of St. Peter from the Privileges and Procedures Committee. Privileges and Procedures Committee – appointment of member In accordance with the provisions of Standing Order 122(1), the Connétable of St. Clement, Chairman of the Privileges and Procedures Committee, nominated Deputy Ian Joseph Gorst of St. Clement as a member of the Privileges and Procedures Committee. There being no other nominations, the Bailiff declared that Deputy Ian Joseph Gorst of St. Clement was duly elected as a member of the Privileges and Procedures Committee. Privileges and Procedures Committee – appointment of member In accordance with the provisions of Standing Order 122(1), the Connétable of St. Clement, Chairman of the Privileges and Procedures Committee, nominated Deputy Sarah Craig Ferguson of St. Brelade as a member of the Privileges and Procedures Committee. There being no other nominations, the Bailiff declared that Deputy Sarah Craig Ferguson of St. Brelade was duly elected as a member of the Privileges and Procedures Committee.
