With a cream façade, white windows, gray roof and a prominent tower, this villa stands proudly resembling a fairy-tale castle. Originally, it was intended as the residence of a textile producer in the late 19th Century, However, today it houses a museum where one can view sculptures from diverse art periods such as by User:FA2010 Renaissance, Classicist, Baroque and Medieval Eras. The statues and figures span Egyptian, Roman, Japanese and Greek styles. The museum is housed in a neoclassical riverside villa built in the early 20th Century and now one of the only few surviving in Sachsenhausen. The property was converted into an art & exhibition by Museum Giersch gallery by the Giersch Foundation and was opened to public in 2000.
