College in Rosemount, Minn. In his four seasons, Huber Head Coach Tim Huber posted a 98-71-1 record. The Blue Knights’ record improved each season under Huber’s guidance. After inheriting a team 13th Season at Augustana that went 5-30 the season before his arrival, Huber led the Career Record: 434-214 Blue Knights to a 19-20-1 record in 2005. He followed that by Minnesota State - 2001 directing DCTC to a 23-17 record in 2006. The team finished fourth in the Minnesota Community College Conference, and he was named the MCCC Southern Division Coach of the Year. In 2007, Huber led DCTC to a 25-18 record before guiding the Blue Knights to another improved campaign, posting a 31-16 record in 2008. DCTC was ranked in the top 15 in the national rankings, finished third at the state tournament National Champion. Head Coach Tim Huber can now tie those and advanced to the regional tournament during the 2008 two words to his title after he took the Augustana baseball season. Tanner Brown also earned NSIC All-Central Region first team selection in 2001. The Mavericks Pitcher of the Week honors with his win against Arkansas won NCC titles in 1997, 1999, 2000 and 2001. He still ranks Monticello. high on many of the Mavericks’ career hitting charts. A native of Belle Plaine, Minn., Huber graduated from MSU in 2001 Huber’s 2019 squad followed up their 2018 national cham- with a bachelor’s degree in sport management. He earned pionship with a 43-16 record, NSIC regular season champi- a master’s degree in educational leadership with a physi- onship, NSIC tournament championship and NCAA Central cal education emphasis from SMSU in 2004. Huber, his wife, Regional Championship, before falling in the super region- Paula, and son, Wrigley, reside in Sioux Falls. als. Huber saw two of his players earn All-American honors, Jordan Barth and Max Steffens. Steffens was named Central Assistant Coaches Region Pitcher of the Year twice and was also named the NSIC Pitcher and Newcomer of the year. Huber was named the 2019 NSIC Coach of the Year and NCBWA Central Region Coach of the Year.

In 2017, Huber and the Vikings recorded 37 wins for the third consecutive year.
