You can be confident, your Branch (Br) is here, standing fast, ready to provide a platform for continuity, for you and for those who follow in the coming years ahead. There are however two similarities the Br shares with Brexit; Change, one of life’s constants, we will continue to identify and implement that which is in the best interest of the membership, the other, Funding, the need to developing mechanisms and processes that will ensure the Br continues to thrive well into the future, our top priority for 2019! Communication is a two-way effort and we can only maintain up to date records if you advise us of any changes to your contact details. General Data Protection The recent changes in the Data Protection Act (May 2018) requires that we keep a record of your agreement to the data we hold on you. Even though over the last few months we have requested members to complete our branch General Data Protection consent form, there are still a large number outstanding. For those of you that have not completed the form a copy has been attached at the end of this newsletter, please use it and return it to me.
