FACULTY PARTICIPATING STUDIOS: SYDNEY, NS: NOV. 20-22, 2020 Dance Sync (A) Angela Gratton……..Sydney, NS Chantelle Good Chantelle Good, originally from , Canada, started dancing at the young Dance Conxion (b) age of two. Following her years of competitive dance training, Chantelle moved to New York to study dance at Marymount Manhattan College, where she Kelly Pearl……..McGee Lake, NS received a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in choreography. She has performed in professional events including New York Fashion Week, BC Beat, Painted Dance Collective (c) DansEncore, the Inside/Out Festival at Jacob's Pillow, and the American Music Hannah Sparling……..Sydney, NS Awards. In both 2016 and 2017, Chantelle attended Springboard Danse under the direction of Alexandra Wells, where she performed works by Independent 1 (d) Stijn Celis and Ohad Naharin. She has also worked with renowned choreographers including Saint John, NB Alexandra Damiani, Robert Battle, Adam Barruch, Loni Landon, Al Blackstone, Stacey Tookey, Kate Harpootlian, and Emma Portner. In addition to concert work, she has danced Elle Dance Academy (e) for recording artists including Jennifer Lopez, Blood Orange, iskwē, and Snoop Dogg. When Lindsay Fraser……..Timberlea, NS she is not performing or working on a creative project, Chantelle enjoys sharing her knowledge and passion for dance as a teaching artist and guest choreographer for studios Mount Pearl School of Dance(f) and intensives across North America. Selected theatre credits include; Avram in Arie Dance (h) Fiddler on the Roof, the Priest in Mama Mia, Lank in Crazy For You, all for the Capitol Theatre Port Hope., Mr. Braithwaite in Billy Elliot for the Royal Manitoba Theatre Bre Langille……..Bible Hill, NS Centre. Mary Poppins, for the Citadel, Theatre Calgary, and Capitol Theatre. Jeff Moss in Bells Are Ringing, for The Confidential Project, Mirvish Northside Dance (i) Production’s The Sound of Music where he also acted as Resident Dance Captain. Kim Roper……..Florence, NS Oliver for Drayton Entertainment, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, three seasons with the Charlottetown Festival where he played in Anne of Green Gables, Guys and Dolls and Puttin on the Ritz, Peter Pan and Robin hood the Pantomimes at the Elgin Maritime Dance Academy (j) Theatre, Forty Second Street and Crazy For You at Huron County Playhouse, SwingStep an original Alicia Clavette……..Bedford, NS Canadian Musical and numerous others.Movie and Television credits include; Queer As Folk, The Gemini Awards, Stormy Weather, SuperStar, Once Upon A Mattress, HairSpray, Mulroney The Opera, as well as Lucy Wintermans School of Dance (k) numerous television commercials. He has had the good fortune to work with great artists such as Donny Osmond, Shania Twain, Ernie Coombs, (Mr. Dressup), Rex Harrington, Traci Ullman, Louise Pitre, Carol Lucy Wintermans……..Sydney, NS Burnett, Mathew Morrisson, Denis O’Hare, Tony nominated choreographer Arlene Phillips and Tony Award winning choreographer Kathleen Marshall. Past choreography credits include; the new CBC series Fuedal, Independent 2 (l) to be premiered in 2021.Guys and Dolls, Fiddler on the Roof and Shout the Mod Musical, for the Capitol Saint John, NB Theatre Port Hope , Once Upon A Mattress, West Side Story, and Gypsy, all for Sheridan College, and the Mary Kay Awards. For C.A.T.S. Mainstage, director/choreographer for Fiddler on the Roof, and numerous revues for the Harold Green Jewish Theatre.Also a sought after teacher and adjudicator, he has Bonnie Kilburns Dance Center (m) adjudicated competitions across the country for over twenty five years and he has taught and guest taught Bonnie Kilburn……..Hanwell, NB for various centres through out Canada including Dance Fuzion, The Edmonton School of Ballet, The Alberta Ballet School, The Young , The Charlottetown Festival Young Company, Harbour Dance, George Brown College, Sheridan College, Metro Movement and Dubo Force, (Monterrey Mexico Impact Dance (n) and Mexico City). He is a Level E graduate from The Second City, and was also a member of the casting Amber McPhee……..Sydney, NS team for Mirvish Production’s The Wizard of Oz. 291 & Up: Elite Gold AWARDS & RESULTS

276 - 290.99: High Gold *At the Elite Showdown, all results are based on judge’s choice. Entries 261 - 275.99: Gold admitted to the Elite Showdown are based on high mark, as well as potential 246 - 260.99: High Silver wildcards. Each studio may only be represented in each section by two 231 - 245.99: Silver routines, with the two being in different categories (i.e. Studio “X” may have 216 - 230.99: Bronze one Mini Solo and one Junior Duet in the MINI/JUNIOR S/D/T section). Both of these routines are eligible to place in the top 3. Any routines from the competition not recompeting in the Elite Showdown are still eligible for the “Best” awards (choreo, tech). In addition to the adjudicated awards, there will also be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall given to the highest scoring Solo, Duo/Trio, Group, Line, and Production in each of the Mini, MINI/JUNIOR SOLO/DUET/TRIO: 1ST:______Junior, Teen, and Senior age categories. 2ND: ______3RD: ______*Prizes may vary depending on number of entries. $100 PER DANCER (HST INCL.) Under the direction of Amey Rahey, DFRNT is an intimate training experience aimed towards serious dancers looking to develop their creativity, confidence, and community. The intensive offers a variety of activities that will assist the dancers in expanding their voice as an artist in a positive and supportive environment.
