EDITION: 2020 RELEASED ON: 21/01/2021 Welcome to the CEV Volleyball Competitions Regulations. This is the sole document regulating all CEV Volleyball competitions ran in Europe. All contained contents have been pulled together based on the last released version of the competition specific Official Regulations, and the implementation of all other Board of Administration decisions. The aim is that this document forms the foundations of our Volleyball competition delivery, outlining all requirements of the participating teams and organisers, whilst also providing clear direction and the detailed requirements to those responsible for any match or tournament. The structure of this document is such that every core element (something relating to all competitions) are contained together, while there are individual competition specific Chapters in Section 9 for each separate competition. This document is interlinked to avoid any unnecessary duplication so we therefore encourage you to read it in its entirety to gain the full picture of what is required. The search function in the PDF viewer or e- book can also be a useful tool for users. This set of regulations will only be updated following Board of Administration approvals, and changes will only come into force from the start of the next edition of the relevant competition. SCOPE OF APPLICATION §1 These regulations govern the organisation of all CEV competitions and the participation of National Federations, Clubs and Players to such competitions. §2 Section 9 may depart from the other sections. For a specific level of a CEV competition, a written agreement between the CEV and a Participant or a Handbook may depart from these regulations. The CEV informs the relevant CEV stakeholders, if necessary. §3 Official Communications complement these regulations. Guidelines, handbooks and instructions implement these regulations. 2. PURPOSES §1 These regulations are composed of sport and extra-sport related provisions. §2 The sport related provisions intend to establish an equal opportunities policy on which is based the uncertainty of sport results. §3 The extra-sport related provisions intend to ensure: a. The regular and sustainable organisation of the CEV competitions by preserving them from any negative alteration, b. The promotion of the CEV competitions and Volleyball. 3. ENFORCEMENT §1 In case of an emergency or impossibility to enforce the FIVB Sports Regulations for a CEV competition, the CEV may depart from these regulations. §2 In case of a national law preventing the compliance with these regulations, a similar action or absence of action that performs the same result shall be provided instead. 4. CEV E-LEARNING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME §1 With the purpose to ensure a high quality organisation of the CEV competitions, the CEV developed a life-long training programme aiming at maintaining high knowledge of these regulations and/or Official Volleyball Rules. §2 Individuals designated in these regulations or the Official Communications shall pass this programme in order to be appointed to a CEV competition. 5. FINANCIAL ASPECTS §1 Any financial items related to these regulations are mentioned in Section 8. 6. DEADLINES §1 A deadline stated in these regulations or the Official Communications is the time limit for the fulfilment of a requirement. §2 For information and data to be provided via the CEV database or electronic means, the deadline is the last day of their reception by the CEV. The invariance proposition is revisited with adaptations for win- maximizing sportsman owners facing an uncertain Champions League prize. Sportsman and champion effects have driven European football clubs to the edge of insolvency and polarized competition throughout Europe. Revenue revolutions and financial crises of the Big Five leagues are examined and estimates of competitive balance are compared. The European Super League completes the open-market solution after Bosman. A 30-team Super League is proposed based on the National Football League. In football everything is complicated by the presence of the opposite team. FSartre I Introduction The beauty of the world’s game of football lies in the dynamic balance of symbiotic competition. Since the English Premier League (EPL) broke away from the Football League in 1992, the EPL has effectively lost its competitive balance. The rebellion of the EPL coincided with a deeper media revolution as digital and pay-per-view technologies were delivered by satellite platform into the commercial television vacuum created by public television monopolies throughout Europe. EPL broadcast revenues have exploded 40-fold from h22 million in 1992 to h862 million in 2005 (33% CAGR).

Every year I take care of the production and direction of over 100 live television sport programmes. These programmes include many sports events, such as the matches in the Dutch Football Leaque, the Dutch National Football Team, the most important baseball tournaments and live coverage of boxing galas and other competitions. Besides this sports-based work, I also take care of the training of new directors. Television programmes I am specialised in live programmes that makes every fibre in your body feel the excitement and tension.     EUROPEAN SOFTBALL FEDERATION PRESIDENT’S NOTICE QUARTER REPORT, ISSUE 6 September 11, 2018 TO: ESF National Federations Dear friends, I would like to take this opportunity to update you on our activities and operations on a quarterly basis with the intent to keep you informed of what is being done within the ESF. European Cups: August is the month of European Cups. Italian clubs won both elite Cups – Bussolengo defended the Premiere Cup and Bollate won the Cup Winners Cup. Congratulations go to the Italian Federation Board and their President, Andrea Marcon, as Italy dominated European female softball in 2018, by winning both female European Championships and both top European Cups. The Super Cup Men was played after the inaugural Intercontinental Cup in Prague and the rosters were full with Pick Ups players from the ICC participating countries. The Super Cup final had two Danish teams fighting for the Gold with Amager Vikings beating Stenlose Bulls for the prestigious title after last year wining the European Cup. British teams dominated the Super Cup Coed Slowpitch where al; three medal positions were theirs. Team Europe: Team Europe was made up of players from 12 countries and was the first time the ESF has taken on such an incredible mission. The team spent a whole day together in Prague and Havlikuv Brod before the exhibition game and the players bonded as never before. The exhibition game was a great success and they also beat the Black sox. For the players, it was a great honor, and for some of them, it was also the only chance to face the Black Sox in their careers.
