Trump Tower in downtown Chicago is a 92-story hotel and condominium skyscraper. The tower has 2.6 million square feet of space and the Trump International Hotel features 339 ve-star guest rooms and suites. Other amenities of the tower include Trump Health Club, Trump Spa, 20,000 square feet of meeting space, and 1,000 indoor parking spaces. ExteNet designed, built and deployed a multi-carrier, multi-technology hybrid design network utilizing Distributed Antenna System (DAS) and iDUCT network topologies in a two-month time frame. ExteNet’s distributed wireless network at Trump Tower today supports GSM, CDMA, EVDO, UMTS, 3G and 4G LTE services across multiple frequencies.
New York, NY - Empire State Building
The Empire State Building, thought of as an American cultural icon, was the world’s tallest building for over 40 years. The building, completed in 1931, is a 102-story skyscraper with over 2.5 million square feet of space. ExteNet’s distributed network has been designed to support all 4 WSPs for their 2G, 3G and 4G LTE services across multiple frequencies. Today, the network utilizes 61 node locations, approximately 1,000 low-powered antennas and over 15 miles of cabling to ensure wireless coverage and broadband capacity throughout the Class A building.
