The MIXDECK EXPRESS DJ system is designed to be compatible with virtually any music source that DJs employ, whether it’s CD, MP3 CDs, USB thumb drives, DJ software or external sources like a turntable or iPod. Built to provide the full DJ experience, MIXDECK EXPRESS features cue, brake, and reverse controls, a replaceable crossfader, seamless looping capability and large, touch-sensitive platters for mixing and scratching.

Industry-standard MIDI control is included on each deck of this new universal DJ system along with a built in audio interface for DJing seamlessly with a computer. Balanced XLR outputs provide a strong, professional connection to sound systems, and MIXDECK EXPRESS also offers both 1/8” and 1/4” headphone outputs. DJs can mix in virtually any external playback device or microphone using MIXDECK EXPRESS’ built-in 3-channel mixer and external inputs including stereo RCA auxiliary inputs and two mic inputs - one front-facing and one rear-facing. Each mixer channel features a three-band EQ with rotary kills. Anti-Shock™ buffered skip- protection technology is included on both CD decks.

MIXDECK EXPRESS is high-performance DJ equipment that comes standard with Virtual DJ LE software in North/South America and Traktor LE software in Europe, so DJs can start mixing right away. Virtual DJ LE offers essential performance features for audio files, karaoke, and videos like instant BPM detection, Effects, sampling, automatic beat-match and smart loops.

Numark Announces New DJ Controller, the NDX900

NUMARK UPDATES POPULAR DJ USB AUDIO INTERFACE, DJ|iO

DJ|iO gets a new look and now includes Virtual DJ software.

Cumberland, R.I. (July 19, 2011) – Numark, the world’s leading manufacturer of DJ technology, announces the redesign of the popular DJ|iO portable USB audio interface. Numark will showcase DJ|iO at Booth # 400 at the 2011 Summer NAMM show from July 21st- 23rd in Nashville, TN.

Originally introduced in 2007, DJ|iO is a PC and Mac compatible USB audio interface which features 24-bit audio with a sample rate of 44.1kHz. DJ|iO is compact and rugged for easy transportation and powerful enough to provide solutions for a wide range of audio I/O needs specific to the DJ. Featuring ultra-low latency audio via ASIO drivers, DJ|iO has two independent pairs of RCA stereo outputs that can be configured in software to route independent players or a mix of master and cueing output. A mic input with adjustable gain is provided to mix into stereo pair #1 and a ¼” stereo headphone output to listen to stereo pair #2 in order to preview the mix. The DJ|iO is USB bus powered.

Virtual DJ Home software will now be included with DJ|iO, giving DJs the ability to start mixing immediately. DJ|iO’s new chassis is completely silver with a sleek, compact design that makes it a great-looking addition to any setup.

iPad DJ Controller from Numark, iDJ Live, Now Shipping With Support for algoriddim’s djay app

New iPad DJ controller, complete with iPad stand and support for algoriddim’s djay app, is now available.

Cumberland, R.I. and Munich, Germany (July 07, 2011) – Numark, the world’s leading manufacturer of DJ technology, and algoriddim, makers of the line of djay products for Mac and iOS devices, announce that iDJ Live, a portable DJ controller for iPad, iPhone or iPod touch is now available. Designed to work seamlessly with djay, iDJ Live was showcased by Numark at the 2011 NAMM Show in Anaheim, California this past January.

iDJ Live is an iOS-DJ controller designed to enable anyone to be an iPad, iPhone or iPod DJ.
