Happy New Year to our Fin-Tastic Phlock of Orange County Parrot In This Issue Heads! 2018 was certainly a memorable year for us. This year, we reached out to our local PHIP neighbors and held two joint Pg 1: 2018 Year in Review phlockings. We participated in events with both The Los Angeles Pg 2: January Phlocking Pg 3: February Phlocking Parrot Head Club and The San Diego Parrot Head Club. Some of our Pg 4: Margaritaville Phlocking members attended Phins To The West, Jimmy Buffett’s Show in Las Pg 5: April Charity Walks Vegas and Meeting of The Minds In Key West Florida. Pg 6: San Diego Pub Crawl We explored new venues to hold our phlockings including Heroes & Pg 7: May Phlocking Legends in Lake Forest, The Mission Viejo Elks Lodge and The Pg 8: June Phlocking Monte De Oro Winery in Temecula. We were entertained by our Pg 9: Angels Game regular band of musicians, including Jerry Gontang, Ron Bell & Pg 10: July Pool Party Heartland and also were fortunate enough to see new talent when Pg 11: August Phlocking they came through. The Southern Drawl Band, Eric Stone, Stars on Pg 12: Sept Phlocking The Water and The Tres Amigos made appearances at our events Pg 13: Alzheimer’s Walk this year. Heck, we even had Trop Rock D.J. Dave Jensen spinning Pg 14: Las Vegas Concert the tunes at our Pool Party. Who can forget the more than 60 Parrot Pg 15: Meeting of The Minds Heads who invaded the Trout Farm at Anaheim Stadium. Pg 16: November Phlocking All of this fun was based around some great charity work. The Pg 17: Dec. Holiday Party Orange County Ronald McDonald House, The Boys & Girls Club of Pg 18: 2018 Board Anaheim, The Elks Purple Pig, Operation Gratitude, The Multiple Pg 19: Join Our Phlock Sclerosis Society, The Alzheimer’s Association and Patriots & Paws all benefitted from our hard work and generosity. Next year is our 25th Trip Around the Sun. Thank you to our Founder, A.J. Johncox for throwing such a great quarter century Parrot Head Party. Fins Up!
