ABOUT Situated in the historic , Miami Ironside (est. 2003) is an eclectic, creative district envisioned by developer Ofer Mizrahi - composed of showrooms, studios and event halls – including businesses from the architecture, interiors, material and furniture design, boutique retail and the visual arts. Reminiscent of Brera Design District Milano, Miami Ironside is a green environment punctuated with rainbow eucalyptus trees and outdoor paths linking glass storefronts accented

by public plazas' serviced by cafes, boutique retailers and showrooms. Ironside also hosts public art installations and exhibitions throughout the year, and since 2013 is the permanent home to four iconic pieces of the Berlin Wall with graphic works by celebrated French street artist Thierry Noir.

By linking a truly global creative talent pool, Miami Ironside facilitates interaction between businesses that thrive on constant cycles of activity within a centralized location for complementary services geared towards tastemakers and top-level clients, an important economic driver to attract skilled professionals and innovation to Miami.

The site was coined Miami Ironside in early 2008, stemming from its location next to the iron railroad tracks as well as the use of iron throughout the renovation and design of the complexes.

FOUNDER AND VISIONARY OFER MIZRAHI

Ofer Mizrahi has been an active leader in the revitalization of the community for more than 15 years. In 2001, Mizrahi extended his efforts to the revitalization of a brownfield—now Miami Art Space, a vibrant epic center of the arts and businesses in the Art District.

Today, Mizrahi is the visionary behind Miami Ironside in the Little River Industrial District, west of the MiMo Biscayne Boulevard Historic District. With a European village concept in mind, he has created a modern-day pattern language to exemplify green strategies in the renovation of a warehouse complex, housing and showcasing creative eco-preneurs who want to be a part of a contemporary concept for a live-work community of like-minded designers, artists, creators and businesses.
