All-Time Record: 3,462-3,995-2 • Mateo, 31, was placed on the disabled list with a neck strain on August 8, retroactive to August 6, and missed 23 All-Time at Home: 1,871-1,856-1 games…made three rehab appearances for Triple-A El Paso from August 27-31, allowing two unearned runs on three All-Time at Petco Park: 503-451 hits with one strikeout against two walks over 3.0 innings of work. All-Time on Road: 1,590-2,139-1 • Vincent, 29, will be making his fourth stint with the Padres this season, having been with the club from Opening Day - 2015 vs. Texas: 3-1 April 9, May 1-7 and June 10-23…in 12 relief appearances for the Padres this season, owns a 0-1 record with a 3.55 2015 vs. Texas at Home: 1-0 ERA (5 ER, 12.2 IP)…in 40 relief appearances with Triple-A El Paso, has pitched to a 5-3 record and 3.04 ERA (17 ER, 50.1 IP). 2015 vs. Texas on Road: 2-1 • Myers, 24, was placed on the 15-day disabled list on June 15, retroactive to June 14, with left wrist tendinitis and was All-Time vs. TEX: 15-14 later transferred to the 60-day DL on August 8 after having surgery to remove a bone spur in that same wrist on June All-Time vs. TEX at Petco Park: 1-3 18…Myers has missed the last 67 games with the injury. Sunday 9-11 Thursday 5-9 MAMA SAID SHUT YOU OUT: The Padres earned their fi fth shutout win of the season last night with their 7-0 victory over Monday 7-8 Friday 13-8 the Rangers, their fourth at home and their third during the month of August, having also shut out the Cardinals on August 22 Tuesday 9-11 Saturday 13-8 and the Braves on August 18…the Friars also blanked their opponents on April 10 vs. San Francisco at Petco Park and the Wednesday 8-12 Angels on May 26 in Anaheim. April 11-12 August 14-14 • The Padres three shutouts during the month of August were tied for the second-highest total in Major League Baseball, May 14-15 September 0-0 trailing only the St. Louis Cardinals, who had four (Cubs and Dodgers also had three)…it was the Padres’ fi rst time with June 12-15 October 0-0 three shutouts in a calendar month since also recording three during September of last season.
