In Cincinnati, Grigor Dimitrov (26) beat Nick Kyrgios (22). That was also the last final between two players making their ATP Masters 1000 championship match debut. The last time this happened at the Rolex Paris Masters was in 2012 when David Ferrer beat qualifier Jerzy Janowicz for his first ATP Masters 1000 title. If Krajinovic wins, Pablo Carreno Busta will earn the final spot for the Nitto ATP Finals in London. The last time a player qualified for the year-end Finals by needing to win the Paris title was Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in 2008 (d. Nalbandian). • This will be the first meeting on the ATP World Tour between the two although Sock won 36 64 64 in the semi-finals at the 2014 Savannah, Georgia Challenger (l. to Kyrgios in final). • Sock, who came into Paris No. 24 in the Emirates ATP Race to London, is trying to become the first American to win the Rolex Paris Masters since Andre Agassi in 1999 (d.
