Riviera Nord, Pescara, tel. 339- 3914399 (Mauro) [email protected] PLACE AND DATE: Pescara, L'Ammiraglia beach resort , May 2-3-4 2019 PROGRAMME: May 2nd registration from 9 am to 11am , at 1 pm is the warning signal for the first test, the next will follow. The warning signal time for the first test in following days will be exposed in the NOTICE board by 8pm every evening . In case of no communication , will imply the time of the previous day. No warning signal will be displayed after 2:30pm on May 4th . There will be 9 tests with a maximum of 4 tests per day. The race will be valid with any number of tests. For the allocation of the Italian Class Champion titles a minimum of 3 (three) tests must be completed. RULES: The races will be conducted applying: to SVAGAMENTE Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica (affiliata FIV – riconosciuta dal CONI) - Via S.S. 16 Sud 123, Silvi Marina (Te) Cf 91111810684 - www.svagamente.org - [email protected] – tel. 339 3914399 a) the rules defined in the Regatta Regulation WS 2017-2020 (RRS), b) the class rules c) the F.I.V. Regulation for the National Sport Activity 2019 and the Requirements that are to be considered “rule” d) from this call , from the Regatta Instructions and subsequent Official Communications that will be exhibited in the Official Notice. In case of contrast between the Call and the latter will prevail including the following Official Communications. (Modification RRS 63.7) The race will count for the classification in the area. Admission: All the Hobie Cat wid Cat and Hobie Tiger, Dragoon, Hobie Cat 16 Classic and Hobie Tiger boats are admitted, whose crews are aligned with the current year subscription with the IVF card including the health requirements and with the enrolment to the class. Possible foreign competitors must be in compliance with the provisions of the National Authority of affiliation in the matter of registration and medical examination PUBLICITY: According to the regulation 20 World Sailing (Advertising Code) the race is classified as “advertising without restrictions” . Italian competitors whose boats display individual advertising will have to show, at the time of the perfection of the registration, the valid IVF licence Competitors may be required to display a bow sticker , on both sides of the hull, with the marks of any groomers provided by the organization. REGISTRATIONS Registration must be received by April 25, including payment of the registration fee, to the Secretariat of the Organizing Committee filling out the form provided on the website www.Associazioneitalianahobiecat.it. www.svagamente.org The registration fees for crew is EURO 120, for Hobie cat Wild Cat Tiger and 16 and EURO 70,00 for the Dragoon the payment can be made by bank transfer to Svagamente with sail number IBAN IT39 G 0335901600100000062558 Banca Prossima or at the time of the completion of the registration on site. All registrations must be completed by 11am on May 3rd presenting: 1) the duly completed registration form. Competitors under the age of 18 must submit the registration form signed by the parents, guardian or support person acting in accordance with rule 3.1 (b) and who, during the event, takes responsibility for getting the contestant into the water to race. 2) FIV card valid for the current year and complete with the indication of the medical examination with expiry date. The card can also be presented through the App. My Federvela. For foreign crews see the point AMMISSIONS. 3) the insurance certificate for the boat’s civil liability with the minimum ceiling provided by the FIV (€ 1.500.000,00), or the FIV PLUS 2019 card 4) any authorization to display advertising, 5) the tonnage certificate 6) the required registration fee. 7) The valid class card. The aforementioned documentation must be deposited with the Regatta Secretariat when the registration is completed. BOATS and PERSONAL OF SUPPORT : All coaches or escorts and support staff equipped with boat, in order to be accredited must complete the registration form available SVAGAMENTE Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica (affiliata FIV – riconosciuta dal CONI) - Via S.S. 16 Sud 123, Silvi Marina (Te) Cf 91111810684 - www.svagamente.org - [email protected] – tel. 339 3914399 at the Regatta Secretariat, declaring the characteristics of their own means of assistance and the acceptance of “ rules for coaches boats and instructors c. d. BPS“ described in the Regatta Instructions and be equipped with portable VHF apparatus with channels 16/72. The accredited coach will be authorized to use the boat registered during the event. An alleged violation of BPS can be reported to the Protests Committee which may convene a hearing and act according to rule 64.4 RRS. RENTAL: Prior to booking will be available Hobie Dragoon ready for the race made available by Svagamente at a cost of € 200,00 + 200,00 security, per crew, valid for the entire event. POINT :. The minimum score according to R.R.S. Appendix A will be applied to the completion of the fourth test and, as per Norm, a second discard will be applied to the ninth test. AWARDS: Prizes will be awarded to the first three crews of Hobie Wild Cat and Hobie Tiger with a minimum of 5 boats, of Hobie Cat 16 and Dragoon.For the Hobie Cat 16 and Dragoon classes, the first rookie crew will be awarded, the first female and the first fleet 808 Pescara and the first crew 16 hc youth (Under 21). TESTS: hull, sails, equipment and equipment used during the race must comply with the rules of the class to which they belong. No sail or damaged equipment can be replaced with another regularly registered one without the written authorization of the Technical Committee or the C.d.R. The organizers, the C.d.R., the Jury and those who will collaborate in the performance of the event decline any and all liability for damages that can be sustained by people and/or things both on land and in water, as a result of their participation in the Regatta referred to in this call. It is the competence of competitors and their Support People to decide on the basis of their skills, wind power, the state of the sea, weather forecasts and everything else to be expected by a good sailor, whether to go out to sea and participate in the race, to continue it or to give up. PHOTOGRAPHICAL AND/OR TELEVISION RIGHTS: Competitors grant full right and permission to the Organizing Committee to publish and/or broadcast through any media, any photo or filming of persons or boats during the event, including but not limited to, television commercials and anything else that can be used for your own editorial or advertising purposes or for printed information. COLLATERAL EVENTS: When the regattas return, pasta will be offered, on May 3rd a buffet will be offered. If the race committee accept the class, it will be added to Appendix SNT and the prospective entrant will be notified by email. Please note any entry will still need to be made in the usual way and will be subject to the entry limit. Advertising will be allowed in accordance with the Class Rules of the competing classes. The races will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing 2017 – 2020, the RYA prescriptions, this Notice of Race and the Sailing Instructions. If there is a conflict between this Notice of Race and the Sailing Instructions the Sailing Instructions take precedence. Competitors should note that Northampton Sailing Club implements the RYA Racing Charter and that you will be required to undertake to sail in compliance with the Charter, which can be found at the front of the RYA rule book. Conditions of Entry The safety of a boat and her entire management including insurance shall be the sole responsibility of the owner/competitor racing the boat, who must ensure that the boat and crew are adequate to face the conditions that may arise during the race.
