LLOYDMINSTER COMMUNITY YOUTH CENTRE PRESENTED BRETT KISSEL IN CONCERT AT THE VIC JUBA COMMUNITY THEATRE! Brett Kissel is a 24 year-old, award- winning, Canadian country artist. He received the “Break Through Artist of the Year” award at the 2014 Junos, in addition to “CMT Video of the Year” and “Interactive Artist of the Year” from the Canadian Association.

On Friday, January 9, 2015, the Lloydminster Community Youth Centre hosted a successful fundraising concert featuring Brett Kissel. Kissel played to a packed audience at Vic Juba Community Theatre. What a great evening!

The LCYC provides after school transportation to the Youth Centre, as well as rides home one hour prior to closing time. Youth who wish to receive rides to LCYC Bishop Lloyd Middle School 3:00-3:10pm after school or rides home in the evening Lloyd. Comp. High School 3:15-3:25pm must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Waivers can be picked up at the E.S. Laird Middle School 3:30-3:35pm LCYC or printed off from our website: www.lcyc.cc. Hot Meal Program (Wednesdays to Fridays, 5-6pm) The Hot Meal Program provides nutritious meals for youth three evenings/week. Self-Esteem Program This program is facilitated by LCYC staff and focuses on topics that are important to youth today. The sessions include discussion, information on a youth related topic, and an activity. Teen Talk The Teen Talk program hosts speakers from various community agencies to provide information on topics of interest and importance to youth. Check our calendar for dates and times. Focus on Fitness (Select Saturdays, 5:30-7:00pm) This is a fitness program that will be held at the Servus Sports Centre from 5:30-6:30pm, followed by an information session on health and wellness at the Youth Centre. Drop In: Recreation Program The Youth Centre offers scheduled activities driven by the input received from youth at the Centre. Check the calendar or our website for the current activities. Summer Program (June-August) From June – August each year, the Youth Centre hosts a summer program that provides fun activities.
