BARBECUTIES ‐SENTIMENTALLY RETARDED SINCE 2001‐

Hailing from Mannheim, Germany, BARBECUTIES are a four‐piece pop punk band rocking out and bowling hard since 2001. Unmistakably, the band’s sound is inspired by '60s surf‐pop as well as early '90s Lookout! Records artists, such as Green Day or . It gets supplemented by snotty punk elements and melancholic guitar harmonies that go along with polyphonic vocals.

Over the years, the band shared the stage with acts like The Apers, Backwood Creatures, Neon Bone, Flanders 72, The Manges, Sonic Dolls or DeeCracks to name but a few.

The BARBECUTIES’ new album ‘ETERNAL DORKNESS’ was recorded and produced by Nikolay Wolz at Studio G, Mannheim, in September 2017. More than ever before, it reflects the band’s love for both straightforward, stripped‐down ‐core and emotional Midwest punkrock in the vein of Lawrence Arms, Copyrights or Off With Their Heads. It is this blend of different influences that makes the total of 13 songs on ‘ETERNAL DORKNESS’ a diverting matter packed into 25 minutes. Just as the previous record from 2015, the new album will be available via MONSTER ZERO RECORDS and can be purchased through their web store on CD as well as in digital format via iTunes and Spotify soon.
