Rivers Flow Situation Reported by Flood Forecasting Division. River Indus at Taunsa, Guddu and Sukkur are in Low Flood Level. 2. Past Meteorological Situation and Future Forecast by PMD. Annex A. 3. Nothing to Report. 5. Road Situation (NHA and Respective Provinces) a. Gilgit – Skardu Road (S-1) at Shangus blocked since 19 July 2016 was cleared on 21 July 2016 at 1300 hours. The road was once again blocked at same location on 22 July 2016 at 0600 hours which has been cleared by 1300 hours. b. Abbotabad – Murree Road at Charian near Bara Gali in Galiyat is blocked due to landslides since 19 July 2016, clearance work is underway. c. Due to landslide, Khawazakhela – Besham Road (N-90) was blocked near Shangla on 22 July 2016 at 0100 hours. One way of road in open for traffic and work is underway to clear remaining portion of the road. d. All other roads across the Country are clear for all types of traffic. 6. Railway Situation. Nothing to Report. 7. Preliminary Losses / Damages Reported. No losses / damages during reporting period, however, overall details of losses / damages during Monsoon Season 2016 are at Annex B. 8. Dratian 64 mm, Islamabad Saidpur 51 mm. 2. Flash Flood Reported. Nothing to report. 3. Weather Forecast Next 24 Hours. Mainly hot and humid weather is expected in most parts of the Country during day. However, rain-thunderstorm with windstorm is expected at scattered places in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad Divisions, Islamabad and Kashmir, while at isolated places in Upper KP (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan Divisions), FATA and Gilgit-Baltistan. Due to rain, chances of landslides exist in Malakand, Hazara Divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. Light rain / drizzle is also expected along Sindh- Makran Coast. 4. Weather Last 24 Hours. Weather remained hot and humid in most parts of the Country. However, rain thunderstorm occurred at isolated places of Rawalpindi, Malakand, Hazara Divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
