LENNOX AND KINCAID LINEAGE FROM THE EARLIEST MARCIAN KINGS By Ron Lepeska The Lennox district of old Levanax today consists of Dunbartonshire. In early times was ruled by Celtic princes known as Mormaers. From these roots, the powerful Earldom of Lennox arose, which became part of the Royal House of Stewart. By marriage the earls of Lennox and Kincaid trace their lineage lineage from the early Marcian Kings. The great Marcian Kings trace their king line all the way back to the god Woden from which we get the 4th day of the week "Woden's day". It has been thought by some that the exploits of Woden were embellishment on a flesh and blood ruler who lived around 175 to 200 A.D. But no living person would utter such an idea. << WODEN >> I I Watholgeot — Waga — Wihtlaeg I I Eomer -- Anngengeot -- Offa of Wadsith -- Wermund I Icel called Iclingas — Cnebba (b. ca 480) I Cvnewald I Crioda I Pybba (ca.555-630) I I I Penda ruled (626-55) Eowa Coenwal I I I I I Cundwal I I I Peada m. d. of Ethelrod Alwith I I Oswy K. of N.ia) (675-704) I Osmod I K. of Mid m. dau of I I I Angles Wulfhere Oswy I I Centwine (653-5) (658-75) I Eanwulf I K. of S. m. dau. of Ethelbald I I Marcians k. of Kent (716-57) I Cynreow (655-6) I I Thingfrith I I Bassa I I Page 1 (Ceorl K. 606-29 not connected to house of Penda. dau, m.
