25/06/21 Dear Member Now that's a bit more like it, sixteen members turned out for this event at the lovely Ashton on Mersey golf club. Despite the forecast we all managed to stay dry with the exception of a few Mersey bound balls. Some good scores were returned too, but first placed went to Bernard Scott closely followed by society favourite (even though he says that himself) Steve Hazlehurst in second and Dave Rundle took a well deserved third place. Best guest and possible new member was won by James Boone. Kristian Foy won the longest drive and Don Godwin claimed the nearest the pin prize. No one won the Two's Tote so its a roll over to our next event at.... Stockport Golf Club, Offerton Road, Offerton, Stockport, Cheshire, SK2 5HL. Tel: 0161 4278369 on Friday 30th July 2021.
