LANDON KIRKSEY (ensemble, writer-script/lyrics) is a graduate of The Second City conservatory and has been performing and writing for over 15 years. A prolific voice actor, Landon has voiced dozens of commercials you have skipped through on your DVR. As a writer Landon has worked in advertising and television, most recently for the Central sketch show, Trip Tank.

JIM SHIPLEY (ensemble) This is Jim’s first Second City show! STAGE: created the roles of Big Jesse in Jukebox (Off Broadway) and Stephen Foster in Beautiful Dreamer (Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival), and starred in A Few Stout Individuals directed by playwright John Guare. TV: Superstore (NBC), The Odd Couple (CBS), Hello Ladies (HBO), Conan (TBS), and The Thundermans (Nickelodeon).

NICOLE PELLEGRINO (ensemble) is Greek, despite her last name, also an actor, improviser, and mover. Originally from Chicago, she made artistic homes with The Actors Gymnasium, Lookingglass Theatre, and rhythmic ensemble BeTheGroove. Nicole has studied improv at iO Chicago, Groundlings, and iO West, where she performs often. She’s been in many plays, circuses, and one seminal adaptation of Mrs. Piggle Wiggle.

JESSIE SHERMAN (ensemble) appeared as one ofGaston’s 3 Silly Girls in 5 Star Theatricals’ Beauty and the Beast and Tinker Bell in the national tour of Peter Pan 360. MARY LOU (ensemble) LA native, was a child actor (Disney, Nickelodeon, the whole shebang), but took a break to graduate Princeton University with degrees in Art History and Theater. Now back in LA, she does musical improv with Baby Wants Candy, performs in TRUMP IN SPACE at Second City, plays with the Story Pirates, sings with the Satin Dollz, and is Advanced Study at UCB.

JOY REGULLANO (ensemble) has performed on improv / sketch house teams at UCB, Second City Hollywood, and iO West. Acting credits include CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND, HOUSE OF LIES, SPEECHLESS, and SUPERNATURAL. Stage credits include The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Takarazuka!!!, and Our Town. SCOTT PALMASON (ensemble) is from Seattle, has studied/performed improv with iO West, UCB, CSZLA, and Impro Theatre. 2 UNDERSTUDIES CLARE SNODGRASS (understudy) earned her “graduate degree” in comedy at The Second City Hollywood, where she has performed on house teams Track One, Bullshark and Winnebago. She played Ivanka Trump in the original sketch musical Alice in Trumperland, and is thrilled to appear in Trump In Space!

ARYIEL HARTMAN (understudy) is an actor, singer, mover, shaker, writer, dancer, model, maker, and host (just to name a few things). COMPOSER Sam Johnides hails from the great state of Michigan. He is one half of “The Sam & Tony Show” and the composer and pianist for “Robot Teammate”. She also facilitates empowerment workshops for teens and meditative walks for prison inmates. She is excited to be part of Trump In Space because Art and laughter are necessary elements to counteract Trump’s hate and fear.

HILARY ROWE (ensemble) started playing Theatre Sports in college. She was a founding member of the After Hours Improvisational Theater Company in Boulder, and later performed with an improv/sketch comedy group, The But Franklies, at L.A.’s Comedy Store. Hilary joined the cast of Opening Night: The Improvised Musical! in 2000. She also teaches corporate improv and team-building workshops whenever she can.

NORM THOEMING (ensemble) Originally from central Indiana, Norm Thoeming is an actor, writer, and improviser living in Los Angeles who has written for and/or appeared in movies, television, stage productions, web series, and commercial advertising. Under the penname August Norman, Norm’s first novel, the crime thriller Come and Get Me will be released in hardcover by Crooked Lane Books in Spring 2019.

MATT YOUNG (ensemble) has performed and taught improvisation in the US and Canada for more than twenty years. As an actor, he appeared in over fifty national commercials and in a number of TV shows and movies. Matt currently makes his living as a screenwriter, having written on Season 2 of SyFy’s Con Man and Season 3 of NBC’s Blindspot.

MICHAEL POLLOCK (ensemble & music director) is a longtime faculty member at The Second City. His vocal arranging credits include The Drew Carey Show, Dolly, The Tonight Show and Evening at the Improv. He is also a musical director at Disneyland and a native Texan.

ALLISON PRICE (ensemble) is a Canadian Comedy Award and Dora Award winning performer and alumnus of The Second City Toronto, where she wrote and performed in four critically acclaimed revues. TV & film includes the indie comedy Everything’s Fine with Sandra and Jeremy, the adaptation of Miranda July’s short story “Roy Spivey” in The New Yorker Presents and the upcoming family sitcom Bajillionaires for Universal Kids.

LESLIE SEILER (ensemble) is an alumnus of The Second City Toronto Main Stage Company where she wrote and performed four revues. During her twelve years with Second City, she also directed, taught, wrote several Family Shows and headed up the Conservatory Program for three years. The National Rifle Association is here to save the day – through song and dance! Praise the lord and NRA-men! Ron Barkley is the head lobbyist for the NRA, and his life is real tough — his daughter is a liberal socialist with a penchant for protests, and for some reason, the entire country is up in arms about gun control. But when Ron prays to God for divine intervention, he receives a magical gun that turns people – into guns. Because after all, if you’ve got problems, the solution is always More Guns! With songs like “Semi-Automatically”, “Everybody Do The Lobby!” and “Liberal Love”, MORE GUNS! is a satire of the NRA, the “woke” left, and all those boring moderates in between. This is a show for the whole family, and by whole family we mean adults only (16+)

JOHN RYAN BENAVIDES (Store Owner/Coffee Shop Patron) is a writer/actor born and raised in Montebello, California. He’s a graduate of The Second City Conservatory, IO West, UCB and has performed all over the United States and Canada. SERENITY GARCIA (Housekeeper/Coffee Shop Patron) started at Second City Hollywood as a kid who used to venture from Las Vegas to LA every week. She’s a current member of The Really Awesome Improv Show and Second City’s House Team Excelsior. She is Story Pirate, a Nerdist Graduate, and has been a member of previous Second City Ensembles: Track One, Whisper Party, and Boat.

15 CAST ERIKA JOHNSON (Keenan’s Mamma/Hairdresser/Ensemble) is thrilled to make her musical debut in ​Shade​ at The Second City. A native of Gary, IN, Erika moved to LA to pursue a career in dance. It is during her time in LA that she fell in love with acting and singing. Some of Erika’s credits include: ​Criminal Minds​, ​The Mic​k, Shameless​ and the recent blockbuster film ​Black Panther​.

MATAJI BOOKER GRAHAM (Keenan’s Aunt/Coffee Shop Patron/Ensemble and Swing for Tiwana Floyd) is an LA native singer-songwriter, actor and writer. Her theater experiences includes works with Lula Washington and Ron Athey/Sean Griffin’s Broad Museum production of ‘Gifts of the Spirit’ earlier this year. She’s currently creating her first solo show and is thrilled to be working with such an amazing group of artists.

J. ELIJAH CHO (Store Owner/Coffee Shop Patron) is a writer/actor from Tampa, FL. He is a co-founder of the sketch comedy group, Some Sort of Show. In 2016, he wrote a one man show which he performed at the New York International Fringe Festival. RASHAUN PERRY (Bruh/Ensemble) is a Second City Conservatory graduate and member of the 2018 NBC Bob Curry Fellowship. He's appeared in short films “Love, Okinawa” making a showing at the Guam film festival and “The Wacky Wobblers” which earned him a best actor in a comedy nomination from the 2018 Changing Face International Film Festival.

SARAH WINCHESTER (Asher’s Mom/Ensemble and Swing for Dahlya Glick) is a singer/ actress that graduated from UCSB with a BA in Dramatic Arts, from UCB's Long Form Improvisation program and is currently a student in the Second City Conservatory. She has appeared in television, film, commercials and performed in a plethora of musicals all over the country. She is excited to make her Second City debut in Shade.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR Corey Wilburn was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee and attended Boston University. Her obsession is her two dogs named Wendell & Penelope. In addition to her passions for writing and comedy, she loves hip hop, Saved By the Bell, Broadway musicals, and dismantling the patriarchy. She lives in Los Angeles and loves singing karaoke with her twin sister and living her best vegan life.
