They add different activities to facilitate any season. Crampons, ice axes, skis, snowshoes, mountain bike and kayaks are ready for use. Multisport events make many combinations possible. The activities can be a calm joint walk, or activities at a more competitive level. Activity Description GLACIER AND Glacier and mountain guiding in small groups up to 8 persons. pr. guide. Bødalsbreen and Lodalskåpa. MOUNTAIN Transportation to Bødal mountain farm and professional guiding in the mountains. Bring regular GUIDING hiking boots, backpack, mountain clothing, gloves, food and drink. Traditional glacier walks, but also combined with ice climbing trips and weekend courses in glacier walks and ice climbing. MOUNTAIN BIKING Versatile Concept for mountain biking. 600 km forest roads and paths for varied and steep cycling. Guiding on short and long trips. Downhill-biking with transportation up the mountain. Bike rental and transportation. GUIDED KAYAK Adventure paddling with sea- and tour kayak in green glacier water under steep mountains and TRIPS glaciers. The valley Lodalen, Kjenndalen and the lake Lovatnet are surrounded by dramatic nature and marked by a long history of rock- and snow avalanches. The kayaks are easy to paddle and very stabile. A great experience of nature. MULITSPORT EVENT Mulitsport Events as a complete solution with accommodation, food and activities. Events will be conducted as a competitive multisport / adventure race. This is only about a competition with yourself and nature. During one weekend you can experience 4 different natural areas; snow, ice, water and mountains - finding the balance between skiing, ice climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, be served good food and relax in the whirlpool. Groups up to 24 people. Participants should have the stamina for a day hike at a moderate pace, adventure and interest in mastering and limit blasting. SKI TOURING Guided summit trips in inner Nordfjord, Sunnmørsalpane and Jotunheimen. Great variation from short easy trips to demanding full day trips. Min. 3 pers., Max 16 pers. in two groups. Bergtatt Stryn specializes in avalanche courses, steep skiing and ski guiding for free riders and ski touring enthusiasts. Off-piste courses in varied terrain and snow-covered glaciers. Courses demands skills beyond skiing groomed slopes. We run a varied and partly steep terrain. The level can be adapted beginners within off piste skiing, and more experienced riders. SNOW SHOEING Snow Shoeing is the perfect way to walk in snow and gain access to forests and mountains. Guided tours can be tailored to suit all levels of fitness. There are numerous walks that lead to wonderful view points. In addition to glacier guiding on the spectacular Bødalsbreen Glacier and in the mountains of Inner Nordfjord, the company has developed a number of exciting adventure activities in the magnificent landscape in and around the Jostedalsbreen National Park. Briksdal Adventure offer glacier walks, glacier safari, RIB rafting, ski touring and Activity Park. A paddling trip in large rubber dinghies on the lake beneath the tongue of the Briksdal Glacier is an unforgettable experience. It brings you within touching distance of the beautiful glacier and the Kjøtabrefossen waterfall as it cascades down the mountainside by the lake. At the Briksdalsbre Mountain Lodge you will find the Activity Park with a host of activities for all the family and the Nakkjestova hut that seats 60 persons round its open fireplace. Activity Description GLACIER SAFARI ON Experience the Briksdalsbreen Glacier at close quarters on one of our guided trips on the lake to which THE LAKE IN FRONT the glacier tongue descends. We paddle in large rubber dinghies between the icebergs floating in the OF BRIKSDAL lake; this is as close as you can get to icebergs in Norway. An experience for the whole family (min. age GLACIER is 4 years). Min. 4 persons, maximum 80. All the equipment is included in the price. Meeting point by the souvenirs hop in Briksdal. GLACIER WALK Family walk, approx. 5 – 6 hours (3 hours on the glacier). Minimum age: 7 years. Normal/good physical BØDALSBREEN shape. All equipment included in the price. Good solid shoes are recommended for the crampons, but these can also be rented at Sande Camping. Bring warm clothes, food and drink. Groups and individuals. Capacity: 120 persons per departure. Meeting point: Sande Camping in Lodalen every day at 10.00. Other types of trips on the glacier available on request GLACIER WALK Approx. 5 – 6 hours (2-2,5 hours on the glacier). Minimum age: 10 years. Normal/good physical shape. BRENNDALSBREEN All equipment included in the price. Good solid shoes are recommended for the crampons, but these can also be rented at Briksdal Adventure. Bring warm clothes, food and drink. Groups and individuals. Meeting point: The souvenir shop in Briksdal. Other types of trips on the glacier available on request. RIB RAFTING ON RIB rafting on the fjord. High-speed trip in a fast RIB boat. All equipment included in the price. Two trips available: a ‘Hair-raising’ trip’ (Tupé løft) of approx. 15-20 min. and ’Fjord Cruise’ approx. 1 hour. THE NORDFJORD Groups and individuals. Capacity: 24 persons per departure. Departure from Hotel Alexandra and in Olden. Other types of trips available on request. SKI TOURING Briksdal Adventure offers guided summit trips in the mountains around Stryn. Customized programs for groups. SKI & SAIL 6 pax + captain. 3 cabins, internet onboard, well equipped sailboat with all facilities. Sailing area is Nordfjord and Sunnmøre. If you want to sail on your own we require certificate and relevant experience. If wanted, we can also have a ski guide with us on the trip. They are located in Hyen. In English, Hyen Natur og Friluft means "Hyen Nature and Outdoor". Hyen Natur og Friluft has many camps where you can fish, have fun, and stay overnight. The nature in Hyen offers many great places to go on excursions. Some of the activities can also be offered to the disabled. Activity Description WILDERNESS CAMP At Byrkjeneset by the lake (Storevatnet) in Gjengedal, we have a well-equipped wilderness camp where people can get served food and stay overnight. Individuals, schools and groups are welcome to visit. Rent boats, canoes, fishing equipment etc. The camp is a good starting point for walks in the area, and can also be used as a fish camp. The lake near the camp offer excellent fishing possibilities. GUIDED WALKS Guided walks to Lavesteinen, Ommedalstøylen and Homestøylen. GLACIER WALK Glacier tours for groups.
