Adapun cita-cita menulis buku ini, telah lama kami canangkan, sekitar tahun 2005 yang lalu. Namun karena sulitnya mengumpulkan materi-materi yang akan diajangkau, yakni begitu ekstensif dan luasnya bahan yang mesti dicapai, juga materi yang dikaji di bidang kesenian meliputi seni-seni: musik, tari, teater baik yang tradisional. Sementara latar belakang keilmuan kami pun, baik di strata satu dan dua, umumnya adalah terkonsentasi di bidang etnomusikologi dan kajian seni pertunjukan yang juga dengan minat utama musik etnik. Hanya seorang saja yang berlatar belakang akademik antropologi tari. Selain itu, tim kami ini ada dua orang yang berlatar belakang pendidikan strata dua antropologi dan sosiologi. Oleh karenanya latar belakang keilmuan ini, sangat mewarnai apa yang kami tulis dalam buku ini. Adapun materi dalam buku ini memuat tentang konsep apa itu masyarakat, kesenian, dan Indonesia—serta terminologi-terminologi yang berkaitan dengannya seperti: kebudayaan, pranata sosial, dan kelompok sosial. -

Geography The Province of North Sulawesi is located in Northern Peninsula of Sulawesi Island, and constitutes one of the three (3) Provinces in Indonesia which located in Northern part of Khatulistiwa Line (equator line), Two other Provinces are; South Sulawesi Province and Aceh Province. 114 HAMA PENTING TANAMAN UBI JALAR (Ipomea batatas L.(Lamb)) DI KABUPATEN MINAHASA, MINAHASA UTARA, DAN KOTA TOMOHON IMPORTANT PEST OF SWEET POTATOES (Ipomea batatas L.(Lamb)) IN MINAHASA REGENCY, NORTH MINAHASA, AND TOMOHON CITY Odi R. Makal*) *)Dosen Jurusan Hama dan Penyakit Tumbuhan, Fakultas Pertanian Unsrat, Manado ABSTRACT The research aimed to identify important pests which attack sweet potato in the field. Field and laboratory research were conducted. The field research was carried out in sweet potato cropping areas in Minahasa Regency, North Minahasa regency and Tomohon. The laboratory research was conducted in plant pests and disease laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture Sam Ratulangi University Manado to idedntify the important pest species which were found on sweet potato plants. The duration of the study was four months starting from December 2010 until March 2011. Survey method was applied with purposive random sampling. The research was used 4 period of plant growth namely 1 month, 2 months,3 months, and 4-5 months after planting. The result showed that there were five orders identified, attacking sweet potato since the age of 1-4 months in Minahasa regency, Tomohon and North Minahasa regency. The five orders were Orthoptera, Hemiptera, Homoptera, Lepidoptera, and Coleoptera. The damage on the leaves were caused by pests coreidae, Cicadelidae, Spodoptera sp (Noctuidae), Valanga sp (Acrididae), and Oxya sp. (Acrididae), whereas on the stem was Omphisa sp (Pyralidae). Damage on the tuber was caused by Gryllotalpa sp (Gryllotalpidae), Cylas formicarius (Curculionidae) and Oryctes sp (Dynastidae). Key words : Important Pest Plant Sweet Potatoes, Ipomea batatas L. -

The purpose of this study was to determine the content of As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, Zn, and Hg in water of stream near an amalgamation tailing pond in Talawaan–Tatelu mining. The metals were determined using ICP/MS, except Hg using CVAFS method. In general, the metals content in water of stream near Talawaan–Tatelu mining is higher than one found in the river water near the other traditional mining in Indonesia and the world’s metals average content in the river water, but lower than the Indonesian standard of water quality. © 20152015 The T.M. The research consists of four phases, i.e. the first phase of determining the location of sampling based on the existence of cases of dengue fever in the city, the second stage of sampling third stage larva, imago capture Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus inside and out and a fourth stage of data analysis research. The results showed that the average population density of Aedes aegypti and Aedes albopictus highest, according to time span found on 08.00-10.00 in the morning and 14.00-16.00 in the afternoon. The average population density of Aedes aegyti outdoors highest found in the sample location in South Minahasa. While the average population density outside the lowest found at the location of the sample of Talaud. -

Currently, Bahoi Village has been designated as an eCotourism village by the loCal government and marine area proteCtion managers, but to be designated as an eCotourism village, it is neCessary to Consider if the village is feasible to be an eCotourism village. The researCh method used was struCtured observation using the ResearCh Instrument used in the assessment of eligibility Criteria as well as feasibility Index, supported by interviews with Community leaders and loCal government. The results show that the attraction of eCotourism in Bahoi Village is Considered to have potential with the Category of feasibility index as a tourism objeCt of above 66.6%. The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly affected several economic indicators, especially absolute poverty, especially in Sulawesi Island, which has increased poverty indicators, leading to the movement of values between districts/cities. The grouping will show similar characteristics of absolute variable poverty. By the Fuzzy method clustering, each observation has a degree of membership so that from the degree of membership can be identified which areas have vulnerable to move from one cluster to another. Grouping using fuzzy algorithms will get an overview of districts of concern to the government during the pandemic so that the variable indicators of absolute poverty do not worsen due to the pandemic. Comparison with the absolute variables of poverty in 2019 and 2020 in the headcount index (P0), Poverty Gap Index (P1), and Poverty Severity Index (P2) in districts/cities on the island of Sulawesi based on silhouette coefficients shows that optimum clusters formed as many as 2 clusters, with a coefficient of 0.57 and 0.60 respectively.
