“I was approached by residents in the Westcliff Drive area with concerns about the state of the street name plates, which had become rusty and bent” said Glenn Williams, ‘Not only were they an eyesore but visitors to the four other roads in that area didn’t know where they were supposed to turn. Although the wall was property of ‘the Crown Estate’ not the District Council, The local action team have kept up the pressure on the council for the work to be done at a reasonable cost to the ratepayers.
