Footnotes VINDICATION rushed up from outside to contest the early pace, dueled heads apart along the backstretch, shook off BULL MARKET to get clear leaving the quarter pole, opened a clear advantage in upper stretch then held sway under steady right hand urging while drifting out a bit through the final sixteenth. KAFWAIN was in a bit tight on the first turn, settled in the middle of the pack for six furlongs, closed the gap between horses on the turn then finished well from outside to clearly best the others. HOLD THAT TIGER was outrun for six furlongs after breaking in the air at the start, circled seven wide on the turn then rallied belatedly in the middle of the track. BULL MARKET rushed up along the rail to contest the early pace, alternated for the lead inside the winner to the turn then weakened from his early efforts. VAN NISTELROOY dropped back in the early stages, raced well back to the turn then failed to threaten while improving his position. MOST FEARED raced up close between horses to the top of the stretch and steadily tired thereafter. LISTEN INDY was caught in a bit tight between horses on the first turn, failed to mount a serious rally. TOMAHAWK broke in the air at the start and was never close thereafter. TOCCET faded after going five furlongs. WHYWHYWHY raced in close contention between horses to the turn and gave way. LONE STAR SKY was never a factor while racing between horses. WANDO stalked four wide to the far turn then faltered. ZAVATA was finished early and pulled up on the far turn.
