Paul Presburger is the Chief Executive Officer of Pantelion and PantaYa and Co- founder of Globalgate Entertainment.. He brings a rich and successful history of catering to niche audiences across Europe, Asia and Latin America as well as the US Hispanic market.

Pantelion Films, a joint venture of and Groupo , is the first major Latino Hollywood studio and the face of Hispanic entertainment in the U.S. Launched in 2010, Pantelion releases include the breakout hit, “Instructions Not Included,” the highest grossing Spanish language of all time in the U.S., “Un Gallo Con Muchos Huevos”, the highest grossing Spanish language animated feature of all time in the U.S., and the box-office success, “No Manches Frida,” which was produced and distributed by Pantelion Films and went on to become the highest grossing Spanish language comedy in the US.

PantaYa will launch later this year in the U.S. Lionsgate’s premium Spanish language subscription service focused on the U.S. Latino market will provide hit movies, concerts, comedy specials and other programming all in one place for the first time.

Globalgate Entertainment is a producer and financier of mainstream, local-language motion pictures with a proprietary, global consortium of tier-1 production and distribution partners in key and emerging territories. Globalgate’s consortium partners include Lionsgate, Televisa (Latin America), Gaumont (France), Nordisk (Scandinavia), Kadokawa (Japan), Lotte (Korea), Tobis (Germany), TME (Turkey), Belga Filmes (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg) and Paris Filmes (Brazil). Globalgate, aligned with its consortium partners, has access to over 20,000 titles and, from its offices in , New York, London, and Beijing, curates additional commercial intellectual property from third-party rightsholders worldwide.

Presburger also was a founder of Tiger Gate Entertainment, a pan-Asian two television channel business he co-founded in 2008 in conjunction with Lionsgate. After bringing in in 2010, Presburger was instrumental in the December 2011 merger of Tiger gate with Celestial Pictures to form Celestial Tiger Entertainment (CTE), an independent Asian media company focused on branded pay TV channels, content creation and distribution across Asia. He currently serves as an advisor for the newly formed entity.

Prior to this, Presburger was EVP of International Business Development for Lionsgate until May 2009. He joined Lionsgate in 2007 to help orchestrate its growth into international markets and develop strategic partnerships with Televisa in the U.S. and Latin America, StudioCanal in the U.K., and in Australia and in India.

Paul previously worked with SES Global, the world’s leading global communications satellite company to develop its IPTV programming offerings. He co-founded the leading US instructional Video-On-Demand programming company, Studio 4 Networks.

In 2000, Paul was a Founding Partner in the Digital Media Practice at The McKenna Group, Regis McKenna’s Silicon Valley-based strategy consulting firm.

From 1996 to 2000 Paul was head of programming and acquisitions for Columbia TriStar International Television. There, he launched several themed cable/satellite channels in Europe, Asia and Latin America including AXN, and . For Animax, Paul was responsible for acquiring and negotiating distribution agreements for over 8,000 hours of programming across all of Sony’s channels.

Prior to 1996, he worked as an attorney and business affairs executive in the Home Video and Film Groups at and worked with partners structuring international co- productions in the film and television industry.

Paul began his career in 1987 practicing law in Los Angeles. Paul has an MBA from INSEAD in France, a JD from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from the University of , Los Angeles.
