Richmond, BC – Best-selling author and spiritual medium, James Van Praagh’s popularity began in the early 90’s on NBC’s daily morning show, The Other Side. The show which focussed on paranormal issues saw Van Praagh quickly become the audience’s favourite guest and resident expert on the subject of life after death. Through the years, his message of hope has touched an abundance of people from his numerous guest appearances on such shows as Oprah, Larry King Live and 20/20. His unique paranormal experiences during the past twenty-five years have seen him author book after book, create meditation intuitive programming and produce successful television projects. As a pioneer in the field, he introduced the world to mediumship with his own daytime talk show, Beyond With James Van Praagh which is still airing in syndication throughout Europe, Australia and Latin America.

In 2002, Van Praagh produced the successful CBS miniseries, Living With The Dead inspired by his first book, Talking To Heaven followed two years later by The Dead Will Tell. Currently he is co-executive producer of the CBS series, Ghost Whisperer starring Jennifer Love Hewitt. The show premiered in the fall of 2005 and became the #1 drama in its time slot and has held that position for five seasons. In 2006, he signed a deal to develop projects for CBS Paramount Network Television. He continues to contribute to Entertainment Tonight and The Insider while travelling the world as he teaches mediumship development classes, hosts cruises to spiritual destinations and conducts sold-out seminars. James Van Praagh will be appearing for a one-night engagement at the River Rock Casino Resort in September where he’ll be sharing his personal techniques for developing one’s own psychic abilities and accelerating spiritual development.
