    Chatbol, a chatbot for the Spanish “La Liga” Carlos Segura, Alex` Palau, Jordi Luque, Marta R. Costa-Jussa` and Rafael E Banchs Abstract This work describes the development of a social chatbot for the football domain. The chatbot, named chatbol, aims at answering a wide variety of questions related to the Spanish football league “La Liga”. Chatbol is deployed as a Slack client for text-based input interaction with users. One of the main Chatbol’s compo- nents, a NLU block, is trained to extract the intents and associated entities related to user’s questions about football players, teams, trainers and fixtures. The information for the entities is obtained by making sparql queries to Wikidata site in real time. Then, the retrieved data is used to update the specific chatbot responses. As a fall- back strategy, a retrieval-based conversational engine is incorporated to the chatbot system. It allows for a wider variety and freedom of responses, still football oriented, for the case when the NLU module was unable to reply with high confidence to the user. The retrieval-based response database is composed of real conversations col- lected both from a IRC football channel and from football-related excerpts picked up across movie captions, extracted from the OpenSubtitles database. De Catalanen zijn van oudsher een volk van zeevaarders en handelsreizigers, net als de Nederlanders, zou je kunnen zeggen. Toch was er pas voor het eerst sprake van Nederlandse invloed toen Rinus Michels er in 1971 trainer werd, het seizoen seizoen nadat hij definitief een bekende coach was geworden dankzij het winnen van de Europa Cup voor landskampioenen met Ajax.

The pact begins with the 2013-14 Barclays Premier League season and supports EA Sports' "FIFA 14" game, scheduled for release in late September. Financial terms were not disclosed. "We have over half a million registered LFC fans playing 'FIFA 13' and they all want to see authentic representation of their favorite Liverpool players in 'FIFA 14,'" Jamie McKinlay, VP of marketing for EA Sports, said in a statement. "We're looking forward to delivering that authenticity, as well as a wide range of new and engaging initiatives for this historic club and its fans." EA Sports will support with marketing and presence on the team's website as well as in Anfield Stadium, Liverpool's home venue. On 1 April 2019, a duly constituted Regulatory Commission (“the Commission”) began hearing 11 allegations of misconduct (“charges”) brought by the Football Association (“FA”) against the Respondent. All charges alleged breaches of Rule E8 of the Rules of the Association. Following an oral hearing which took place over six days and consideration of detailed written submissions on behalf of the parties, the Commission found 2 of the 11 charges proved (charges 3 and 4); charges 1(a), 1(b), 2, 5, 6(a), 6(b), 7, 8 and 9 were dismissed. On 7 June 2019, the Commission provided written reasons for its decision. 2. There followed an exchange of further written submissions and an oral hearing relating to the appropriate sanctions to be imposed in respect of the charges which had been proved. By a written decision dated 15 July 2019, the Commission determined that the appropriate sanctions were a period of suspension and a fine of £75,000. The period of suspension was expressed thus:- “Mr Sturridge is suspended from taking part in all domestic club football matches including friendlies for a period of six weeks from 17 July. Four weeks of this period are suspended until 31 August 2020 but will come into effect 1 immediately if a charge or breach of Rule E8 (or its equivalent) committed on or before 31 August 2020 is brought by the FA against Mr Sturridge and subsequently admitted or proven.
