Activities Till Date: 1) a Monthly News Letter E-Mapoa Was Published and Open by Shri N.Deben Singh, Additional Director, Depar Activities till date: 1) A monthly news letter e-Mapoa was published and open by Shri N.Deben Singh, Additional Director, Department of Information Technology, Government of Manipur on 5th January, 2017. 2) One day Aadhaar operator enrolment camp was conducted on 6th January 2017 at Department of Information Technology, Government of Manipur. 3) Phaileng Village become the First Digitally Literate Village and the First Cashless Village in Manipur on 18th December, 2016 of North East, India and this was covered by the Print in Media in Manipur. 4) Digital Finance Inclusion Awareness and Access (DFIAA) Campiang conducted on 9th January, 2017 at Karang Island, Bishnupur District, Manipur. 5) CSC Manipur Participated Digidhan Mela at Guwahati. 6) Karang Island become a “First Cashless Island of Iindia” and Moirang Khunou gram panchayat as “First Cashless Gram Panchayat of Bishnupur District, Manipur” was declared on 13th January,2017 by Deputy Commissioner/ Chairman DeGS, Bishnupur District. 7) Samaram Gram Panchayat has declared as Cashless Gram Panchayat . 8) State Level One Day VLEs workshop conducted on Digital Payment Systems at 19th December, 2016. 9) Digital Finance Inclusion Awareness and Access (DFIAA) campaign conducted on 23th December, 2016 at Wangbal Gram Panchayat. 10) Digital Drawing Competition conducted on 12th December 2016 at CSC Khongjom Lamkhai. 11) Digidhan Mela was organised on 2nd April,2017 at State Level. Digi Dhan Mela, under Digital India initiative is being organized by Department of Information Technology (DIT), Government of Manipur in consultation with NITI Ayog on 2nd April, 2017 at City Convention Centre to promote cashless payment in Manipur. The Mela is organized to promote digital payment through, RuPay, Aadhar enabled Payment System, Unified Payment Interface (UPI), Unstructured Supplementary Service Data (USSD), e-wallet and POS machine etc. Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Kiren Rijiju and Union Minister of State for Railways Shri Rajen Gohain will be visiting Manipur to be part of this Mela. There will be participation from different sectors including Agriculture, Minerals, Telecom and local vendors on fast foods, vegetable vendors, etc. 12) Launching booklet on Legal Literacy Programme through CSCs’ on April 21th 2015 at Hotel Imphal, Manipur. .
