Reporting for the 2018 membership year is challenging due to our change in membership database to the new Swim Central. As such figures from April 2018 have been used as this is when the transition to the new database took place. ASCTA CARES

The asctaCARES committee, comprising of Lynn Elliott, Nancy Shaw and Brendon Ward, aims to provide assistance to those in need. By fundraising, hosting raffles and executing other intiatives, asctaCARES was able to provide some assistance in 2018 to two coaches who were experiencing extreme hardship, as well as raise funds for the family of ASCTA Life Member Ken Wood after his passing. They have been sincerely grateful for the support and we would like to extend our thanks to everyone for supporting these initiatives.

Throughout 2018, the asctaNSW branch continued to focus on our strategic objectives of continually evolving and developing the sport of Swimming within New South Wales, by supporting the development of both Coaches and Teachers through best-practice education, whilst also improving the professional standards by providing on-going support and recognition. The biggest highlight for our asctaNSW branch over the past year was the tremendous success of our branch conference. At the AGM in October the aim is to present the updated constitution and compliance documentation which works towards the next 3 x 3 year cycle. asctaSA is moving forward as part of our strategic planning framework to continue to ensure the
